Every country has got the hard core criminals and they struggle a lot to give them punishment. Espcially the murdrers , every country has got its own rules . Is it okay to give them sentences like HANG BY DEATH, ELECTRIC SHOCK,MERCY KILLING, or Life Long Imprisionment? What do you suggest?

I almost cried yesterday when he didn't want the cheesecake I baked for him, but he doesn't mind everything else I did for him. He didn't even try it and I worked so very hard on it. I know he doesn't appreciate me and he keeps hurting my feelings. I never let on that I am hurt and I keep going back for more...why do I keep doing this to myself??

Given the vast array of alcopops, beers, spirits etc, what makes you buy non alcoholic drinks like Shloer and Appletiser? Obviously it might be because you don't want to be drinking alcohol, but what other reasons is it? What makes such drinks so appealing?

Chertoff now says those that live in states that won't abide by RealID need passports to travel domestically???!!!

In the past month I was beaten and I also got a death threat from another family member 4 a misunderstanding. The next weekend The family had to make an emer. 6 hr drive cause my g-ma had cancer. At 1st the doc said she had 6 mon. 2 live. She couldnt make it 2 her doc appt. so her doc came 2 her. As soon as she saw her she cried and rushed her into the cancer ward. They said she had a wk or 2 left but 3 d. later she died. I was with her. I had been quite sick but I found there 2 B more important things going on. She was a 2nd mom 2 me and a bff as well. I had never lost someone close. Mom & I r in pieces. 2 top it off we r both very ill and arent suposed to get out of bed for 2 wks. yesterday dad decided 2 serve mom w/ div. papers right after she had a tooth removed. This is the 2nd time hes walked out on us. can you give me ideas or places we could contact in r situation? Moms pays no good and I have a disease, preventing me from working nothing but part time (if that), thx!!

let me comment as a former muslim right.

Have you seen how muslims come to Q/A and keep posting questions and answers about how islam teaches them to be good and a load of nonsense such as

treating non muslims with kindness
helping the poor
not murdering others
treating women with fairness

and they say islam teaches them to do these acts which i dont believe it does
but anyway my question to these people are,

why use islam to make you be good? dont you know that a person does not need religion or god to teach him that murder, opperssing others, treating women badly and treating non believers badly is wrong?

what we need is a clear conscience and not religion right?

I have goldfish eggs which i only noticed today while changing the water in my tank. I have 3 shubunkins in the proper size tank and by the looks of things only one fish has egged!(im guessing by the small amount of eggs) how do i know if they have been fertilized? They are kinda the same colour as the fish food, a see-through-ish yellowy orangey colour! iv taken the eggs out and put them in a diff tank with water from the original one. I would love to try and breed them but have no clue as to how! (as you can tell) could someone let me know?!
