You can try filing complaints with the FBI and the police. You don't indicate how they are harassing you...is it via IM's, e-mails or web posting? If it is via IM's and e-mails, you can set you account to block certain e-mail addresses and also file a complaint against the user for a Terms of Service Violation with their internet provider if known.
If it is via a webposting, contact the webmaster for the site and advise them of what is going on and they may delete the content and/or warn or block the user from their domain.

I would go to either the FBI or your local police. They can trace the IP address of the computer that the threats are coming from. I wouldn't let it go as others recommend. I think it should be taken seriously and things should be done to stop it. Be persistent. If you have to call the police ten times a day, do it. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

You can go to the FBI website. I did. They do nothing. Best advice: Turn OFF your computer!
