I live in Texas and most restaurants charge anywhere from $1-$2 for a glass of coke/tea. I think it's ridiculous. Especially, when it runs about $2 especially. Tea is so cheap to make and should be less than cokes but it's not. I usually just get water. Anyways, just me griping a little, any thoughts??

Do you think Al Jazeera Internation (English Version) is or parallels to Fox news in terms of bias. I have been watching it for a few months now and i actually believe it is quite good, though they usually cover the arab or "Muslim" world, which is fair enough since that is where they HQ is.

My friend wants to give me a car that's been sitting around for over a year. I don't know much about cars. It needs new tires and brakes, but I want to send it to Farm and Fleet for that, but what needs to be done to the car before I need to start it up. It'll need a new battery and an oil change. Is this normal? I'm 13, nd I've been scared of bugs for as long as I can remember, but daddylonglegs' scare the hell out of me. If I see one, I run out of the room and get my brother, who usually kills them for me, but if he doesnt, I'm scared to go into that room for hours, and if I have to, I usually run out the second I see it, in tears or close to it. Is itnormal to be this scared of something?

Have anyone watch YouTube lately ? If you enter "kid fights" or "skaters"......It is absolutely horrific the type of barbaric behaviour these teens are exhibiting. And NO it is not because of the parents !!!! My concern is not directed towards the participant (because they are lost cause as far as I'm concern), but the spectator. In once clip two girls are beating the hell out of each other. The boys around them are cheering them on and coerce them to increase the violence...I wonder if these kids would react the same watching a lynching or a rape in progress !!!! Has our teens completely lost all moral compass ? Are today's parents are forced to accept these behaviors because they have no choice and stretched becuase of work and responsbility ?

Does anyone else get really nervous about starting a new job? I may be getting offered a new job that would cause me to change residences as well as adapt to a new work environment. living in the concerete jungle of the town, who do not wish it ever to rain , could actually effect the weather so that it does not rain? Even on the weather forecast on the Telly rain is described as being bad weather, and sunny weather is described as being better or good weather!
No one ever seems to think about what is good for the countryside, springs and rivers!
Yes, I realise that this doesn`t explain all the recent heavy rainfalls in England,...and other countries also,...But perhaps our desire to keep rain away only causes it to build up to the point that it simply has to have the whole lot fall at once.
I know it sounds rather childish, but there may be some truth in it!

I've asked friends of mine this question before, and every answer I've gotten makes no sense.

I've heard "The style of defense in the NFL is different from defenses in the NCAA." Well, if the NFL defenses are so effective at stopping the option, why don't NCAA teams adopt them?

And for that matter, why don't any teams in the NFL run the option?

well, i never really shaved my pubic hair until now, it looked ugly and i didn't think that it was normal to keep it. i had it kept trimmed, but it was still sorta gross.. so i shaved it all and now it's ichy, and i have little red bumps down there.
