Well, there's a lot of air pollution and light pollution, but there still are stars visible in Florida. I've seen them myself. If fact there's an astronomy village near Chiefland where a number of America's leading amateur astronomers live and observe. Florida has among the best skies in the world for planetary observation and imaging, as witness the years of work done by Donald Parker.

When Florida was created many years ago, it was made of sand and stone. There were no spaces left between the sand grains and stones in which to put stars.
It you meant to Ask "Why can I not see any stars over Florida?", then the answer is that it is:
1. far too cloudy in the sky and the clouds obscure the view of the sky,
2. you are looking up at the sky during the daytime, or,
3. there is far too much light pollution in the city where you are. This prevents the light from the stars from being seen by you, as the lights from streetlights, houses, cars, industrial buildings and parking lots is far stronger than the tiny points of light from the stars.

I live in Florida too and have noticed that if I'm in a city setting I can't see very many stars but if it's where there aren't so many lights you can see them. Although, it's not the same as say Wisconsin or Arizona.

Hey Avi, look at a map or an encyclopedia or something, we aren't overly polluted because of oil production. Oil production isn't really even that big of an industry here! There are plenty of stars visible here - you just have to get away from the lights. I can see the Andromeda Galaxy with the naked eye from outside my front door, and I can count more than seven stars in the Pleaides with the naked eye also.

No stars in the night sky in Florida? Then either you're too close to bright city lights, there is too much air pollution, or its cloudy.

florida is a very populated state with a lot of pollution due to oil production.

population means more lights, and because of the lights on the ground you cannot see the lights in the sky due to the focus of your eye.

pollution and smoke also cover the atmosphere, making it impossible to see the sky at all.
