It's called razor burn. It's normal, and you can get rid of it with a nice moisturizer. The bumps and itching are a result of irritated skin. Try baby magic lotion, but don't put it on for like an hour after you shave, 'cause it'll burn like hell.

The bumps and itching are normal. The bumps are part of what is called razor burn. Please make sure that you moisturize the area with something like baby oil to keep the area from drying out after shaving.
I don't shave much anymore because I've had problems with a thing called ingrown hairs which is a lot like a pimple. I trim my hairs. I talked to my doctor about this issue a while ago and she would rather me trim the hairs instead if I need to do anything to the hair in that area.

That area is very sensitive ~ the red bumps and itching are normal. You don't have to keep pubic hair if you don't like it, there's nothing wrong with shaving. Next time try a shaving lotion for women to sooth the area before and after shaving.

you ar ejust experiencing a minor irritation form shaving. Put on some aloe based body lotion (for external use only though) to ease the discomfort. Wait a couple days then reshave to get clear of any remaining stubble. After that shave as often as needed to keep the regrowth form itching.
Always use a fairly new razor blade.
Never apply any kind of after shave.

Its normal these days but in the 70s and before that hardly any one did shave. Might be easier to just trim the hair instead of shaving since its a sensitive region.

the red bumps are shaving bumps and yes it is normal for it to itch.you probably have folliculitis (hair follicle is inflamed) form the irritation of the razor...men call it razor burn. shaved once...never did it again.

oh yeah- it's normal. it's kinda like when you just shaved your legs and it dries out- sometimes it's itchy- You got razor burn- it the reaction when you just shaved and there is no hair to catch your sweat- and the constant fibers your picking up off your clothes rubbing.- it'll bug for like a day- then it goes away- usually (unless you sweat a lot- then consider baby poweder to dab on to keep it from rubbing and moisture.)

yes to both questions--normal for those shave bumps (irritated follicles) and to itch. Better is waxing, better yet (but more $$$) is to have laser hair removal--that's permanent.
