I want want to get a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi (even Body only). I have seen really bad reviews from some online sellers. Where have you purchased items like this with the best prices. I am looking for a reliable company.

KEH, ADORAMA, B&H all are reputable sellers. If you use them you'll be fine.

Beware of sellers offering really fantastic prices - they may be dealing in "gray market" cameras. This isn't illegal, just underhanded. Why? Because a "gray market" camera is one bought in a country with a lower price than a USA importer can get from the manufacturer. So a company buys cameras in Taiwan, imports them to the USA and undercuts dealers who buy from the manufacturer/authorized USA importer.

So why is this a bad thing? Because the warranty is only good in the country where the camera was purchased. Nikon USA, Canon USA, Pentax USA, etc. will NOT do warranty work on a "gray market" camera. Need service? Send it to Taiwan - or pay out of your own pocket.

I bought a brand new LCD 37" TV from this company. I knew it was a big risk, but the price was so good. When they delivered it, nothing was wrong, brand new. I recommend this company. not sure if you'd find a good deal on what your looking for but at least their a good reliable company. company is Profeel.com
FYI.. don't ever buy from on-line store that don't provide a phone # for you to call and speak to customer service. good luck.

verify the listings in Shutterbug magazine. KEH, B&H, ADORAMARA all are evoked - all of them promote in Shutterbug and the magazine has extremely extreme standards. I have not got any concept how experienced you're with DSLR cameras so please do no longer take offense. in case you're green, i could strongly urge you to purchase from a close-by digicam keep. The sales team is experienced and able to respond to questions and grant advice. it incredibly is something you're unlikely to get from an on line broker, no remember how respected.
