I want want to get a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi (even Body only). I have seen really bad reviews from some online sellers. Where have you purchased items like this with the best prices. I am looking for a reliable company.

Check the listings in Shutterbug magazine. KEH, B&H, ADORAMARA all come to mind - they all advertise in Shutterbug and the magazine has fairly high standards.

I have no idea how experienced you are with DSLR cameras so please don't take offense. If you're inexperienced, I'd strongly urge you to buy from a local camera store. The sales staff is trained and able to answer questions and offer advice. That's something you're unlikely to get from an on-line seller, no matter how reputable.

B&H is good, but you'll pay tax if you live in NY. Best online is Cameraworld.com
