I took 2 pairs of pants and 2 skirts to my tailor for alterations. The pants needed the waists taken in and the skirts needed hems. When the tailor pinned each item they seemed fine but now that I have them home they are all wrong! The waists are too tight and one is crooked. One skirt is all lumppy on the bottom and the other is much shorter than was pinned.

I went back for a refund but they refuse! The work cost me nearly 85 dollars and I can't wear any of it!

Is there anything I can do to recoup my money? At this point I've lost the cost of each item and the 85$ for the alterations. Please help!

We were talking in the kitchen and I lifted my shirt to show that Ive lost weight around my gut because I started drinking water

Shes always been so small and petit and flat chested now all of a sudden I see a tit!!! AHH I FREKING OUT ABOUT THIS HELP!!!!

i loved it! i usually hate those types of shows, but i fell in love with it. i thought it looked stupid and boring form commericals but i decided to see it anyway. i really hope they do a second season but i know they they probably are not. did anyone else like it? im sad that its over.

I am looking for an operating system that allows me to do very basic computer functions without all the bells and whistles. I hate being suggested crap all the time, so I want a lean OS, one that uses very little of my processor. I want one that is good for the internet, and doesn't gum up the works.

I used to have Windows Me and I was annoyed to no end. Then I got XP, and I was happy with that for a while. I still have it and everything is all gummed up.

Whatever the problem is, I don't care because I am in the market to rebuild a new computer from scratch and I really don't like the Vista system because I understand that it uses up all your processor and memory power. Is MS coming out with a better one? Should I stick with XP?

Okay, so there is nothing wrong with being proud of your toddler. But, what would you do you do if you have a fellow "Mom" friend that is ALWAYS bragging about her child in a manner that is trying to put your child down?

I mean, my friend is really competitive about her child. She will have her child recite things (abc's, number's, etc., more like tricks than anything) and will say, "can SHE do that?" Or she'll ask my daughter directly, "can YOU count to 20?" . . . and then she will infer that I am not teaching her right . . . She just turned 2 a week ago for cripes sakes! I didn't know I was coming over for a spelling bee!

I have 2 jobs 2 kids and plenty else to take care of, I don't have time to sit there and help my toddler memorize stuff. At the same time, it really IRKS me that she is trying to make me or my child seem insufficient.

It just seems like some moms are SO competitive and judgmental.

What would you do?

My ex and I have been apart since Feb. The break up was harsh on me, I dealt with it, respected her decision for time apart. I rediscovered who I was and assorted my priorities.
During the time off we only chatted 3 times on the phone, 1st two, she was drunk dialing, but we didnt mention the relationship at all. Just recently, the 3rd time we had a great conversation.We talked about everything respectfully, and both agreed that we still cared for another and will always love eachother.She inveted to her bros baby shower, I told her I wasnt sure, but i still went ahead and she was surprised. i kept my distance during the shower, and caught up wth the family and her of course. kept everything very casual, and obvious that my life was great! family was glad to see me and Im sure she was too. uncles and Aunts were ofcourse gesturing if we were back, or making jokes. we both laughed.and kept our distance. she walked me out, gave a long big hug, and thanked her for the invitation...

I was replacing rings on my bike and the top one broke and fell into the crankcase. I've tried to fish it out with a magnet with no luck. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money to disassemble the engine for it. I got some advice from a shop to flip the bike upside down or take out the engine and flip it and blow some air to try to get it out. If I can't get it out is there any chance the engine will survive?

The only martial arts here in my city are the ones available:

+Kickboxing (Wushu Sanshu)

+Muay Thai (by MILO)

+Boxing --> I enrolled for a month a long time ago

+Karate-do

+Arnis (It's a local martial art that uses two sticks for self-defense)

+Taekwondo

+Taebo --> I'm not even sure if this really is a martial art..it's more like a dance, really.

+Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (But it's too expensive and I can't afford to enroll in that class)

+Aikido ---> enrolled for a month 6 months ago

+Mindanao Unified Martial Arts; Circular and Linear Techniques (But the place looks and smells crappy)

I have a girlfriend and my own life to defend. And I'm not old enough to get a license for a gun yet. I can't even afford a gun.

So, what's the best martial art to use (on the above choices) on the streets? With me having no weapons and a thug using a knife or a stick or a rock?

I have had my chinchilla for 5 years and compared to other pics of chins that I see, mine is sooo small! Is this normal? He eats normal and drinks normal... should I be worried or did I just get the runt? I don't mind because he's so cute, I was just wondering. Also, for the past 3 years my chin hasn't been able to keep fur on his lower back or belly. I'm not sure if he's pulling it out or if it just won't grow back completely. I had heard that some chins can get a type of worm that lives on their skin and to rub athlete's foot powder on them and to put some in their dust bath. Has anyone had this problem before? Why would he not have hair? I keep his cage clean, he has plenty of food and water, an exercise wheel and gets plenty of treats. He is an only chin. Is he stressed, or do you think he has the skin worm, or what could be causing this. When I started to use the foot powder it got a little better but then the hair went away again. What is going on??
