We are getting married in Las Vegas and are not "fancy" people. Our families want a reception and we don't. Do you think a pre-wedding party (the day before we leave for Vegas) with drinks, appetizers and a pool table (private room in a very classy resaurant) is a good compromise? Do you think people will be offended not to have a sit down dinner?

So, my mom, my cousin Mel, my cousin Anna and I were sitting in the kitchen. Anna is 36 years old. Anyway, we were talking about global warming and Anna started laughing and she was like " it's not global warming it's global warning! There isn't a such thing as global warming". She was soo serious and positive. All of us busted out laughing, and we told her she was wrong. She argued with us for 10 minutes, and I showed her online what global warming was.

My parents plan on buying leather couches and want me to get our kitty declawed. I am against this since he likes to go outside and even though I always watch him outside and never let him go far from the house, I feel it would be cruel to get his nails removed even if he doesn't need them. How can I make sure he doesn't claw the couches when they come. Do not answer with spraying him with water, we bathe him weekly and he doesn't mind it anymore.

I am currently going through a divorce and I suddenly started to have feelings for my attorney. We have been contacting each other lately not in a professional nature but more like friends. We went out one day and after that he emailed me that he had a lot going on and that he would call me when things settled down. Does this mean he had feelings for me too? Or did he notice I had feelings for him? Did he cut it off because he is my attorney? Obsessive Ex Boyfriend Won't Give Up. Help?
Okay. I Broke up with him. He took it bad, then I tried to be his friend and that didnt work. He ended up going out with my (now ex) Best Friend. (which didnt work b/c...ahem I dumped HIM... not Vice Versa. He was really Mean to me. Then apologized (I was just like... okay... sure... I forgive you.) I hoped he would just leave me alone. He called me the other day (I didnt answer) and he left me a voce mail wondering how I am... yada ya. And he called again today. and left me a voice mail and was like "WTF? Why arent you answering me calls. (He sounded angry) and was like if youre mad... text and tell me why. If not, Call me BACK!" I want to nicely tell him to Screw Off! Because he's creepy and obsessive and I've been way to nice to him. I mean I was like a Freaking Saint. I broke up with him in early May, and it's mid August.... can you say obsessive???

my aunt told me i was spoiled out of the blue. we were driving in the car, and i mentioned something about my family's trip to nice, france in the summer. then she told me my parents spoiled me and i had no idea how some people lived and neither did i care. well, she's wrong! i am not spoiled, in my opinion, and i am very aware of the situation of the less fortunate people and how they live. i am also extremely grateful for my position in life and i pray my thanks to god every day. dont you think her comment was uncalled for? i told her all of the above, but she seemed unconvinced.

When i click on the icon, first the icon twitches a couple times than it shows that small box while loading that shows owner and stuff, but it opens for about 2 seconds and just closes with no warning. It does this repeatedly, scanned it with norton, its not spy ware, and i can't reinstall......one that gives the answer to fix gets the points.

Hi all
I am a 20 year old male. I attended an all day outdoor music festival this past Saturday and got a regular sunburn (red skin), even though I applied an SPF 30 sunscreen twice, once at the begining of the show, and again at the middle of the show. However, I was required to push carts outside for my job for two straight hours in the burning sun (It was more than 90 degrees in my estimate) two days after the music festival. Doing this caused thin wrinkles to appear on my forehead, and made my forehead feel very leathery. The rest of my body looks and feels normal. I usually stay indoors, but I usually retain a light dark complexion (I am Asian). I do, however, have dry skin. What should I do to get my forehead normal again? Are there any treatments that I can apply? Will my forehead be permanently wrinkled? Or should I just wait for my skin to shed? Will my forehead ever return to its normal condition? Please help!

A few weeks ago a customer "bought" about $121 worth of stuff. Just when he was about to pay he grabbed the bag, yelled "Don't call the cops" and sped off. We chased after him and got his license plate but it was 11:30 at night. We got a full description of his and his girlfriend because talked to everyone in the store.
Last week the police called and said they ran the plate number and the person we described doesn't match the owner. and said that because it was dark a mistake might have been made like the 7 might have been a 1, the 8 might have been a 3 etc. We're sure the first 2 and the last 2 are correct. The police said that they will try other combinations.
Just how much longer is this case going to be open? I had already forgotten about this case when they called. As badly as I want this guy caught, the police have more important things to do.
