Truth is, God can take anyones name out of the book of life, remember in the book of Revelation, God said "Anyone who takes away from the words of this prophocey, so will i take his NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE". So someone can loose their salvation and this isn't the only way, If we were saved always then we wouldn't have to live Holy but God requires us too, he said "Be Holy for i am Holy" and "Holiness without, none shall see the lord". God bless

Not at all. Revelations 3:1-6 tells us that there are those who are ready to die if they don't overcome whats troubling them, verse 2, in verse 5 their told that if they don't overcome their names will be blotted out of the book of life.If your name is in the book of life your saved. If its blotted out this means you were saved but now your lost.
In a letter to the church at Ephesus they are told to repent or else their candlestick will be removed Revelations 2:5.Once the candlestick is removed they would be left in darkness.

This is very good question and I really don't have an answer. I want to see what everyone says. But here is a thought when you are saved God writes your name in the Lambs Book of Life. Does he have an eraser to mark it out?

I believe that the spiritual growth that we achieve here on earth is written in a book in heaven. It is the progress that we make here which determines how we do there. A soul goes through growth spurts, just a children do, and each of these times that a soul grows isn't forgotten by God. After all, He was there!

No. The devil would not be alive and well on planet earth if such a doctrine were true. Satan lost his salvation and was cast out of heaven for rebellion and disobedience. His final fate awaits him and that will be destruction by fire in the executive phase of the Judgement according to Revelation 20.
We must die daily to the flesh and walk in the Spirit.

The Bible says that only the OVERCOMERS will enter in! He gives us His Spirit so thar we are equipped to overcome any sin that comes our way! Do we seriously think that the powers of evil will just leave leave us alone when we have God's Seal upon us? It is a daily battle which we have all power to win!

I believe that once born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood; always born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood.
Once you are born of His Spirit, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
But we work out our salvation daily. Making the soul choice to die to lust of the flesh (not reacting by yelling, cussing, etc.) & choosing to follow after the fruit of the spirit; faith, hope, love, joy, peace, patience, honesty, truth, etc... The Holy Spirit wont make us. We choose to. And also we are to renew our mind in the Word of God. This is washing in the Word. And when we sin, the Holy Spirit convicts our spiritman & we confess it & Jesus Blood cleanses us. Too many born again Christians don't obey & renew their mind in the Word of God. So? Christians let wrong thinking rule too much & are in bondage. Some die early.
The bible tells me that I am born of God, The Holy Spirit confirms this in my spiritman. I am forever saved, having eternal life in me through the spiritual birth. No one in heaven or earth or below the earth can take that from me. God doesn't abort anyone born of God. And that means I was saved when I was born of God & am forever saved (eternal life, heaven).
Jesus can never say, "Depart from me, I never knew you...". Because Jesus knows ever child that is born into His Kingdom. Even the most disobedient. Even the most committed. http://www.fathersloveletter.com . And Father God knows all our secrets, even how many hairs on our head. He has said that no one can separate me from the Love of God or take me out of His hands.
Who is He who overcomes, He who is born of God. What is our victory, our faith.
As a Christian, the Holy Spirit wouldn't let me take out of the book of Revelation. The Holy Spirit would prevent any Christian from doing so. And also anyone in a pre salvation state. That is why I believe the book of Revelation is accurate, & hasn't been changed. And also why the rest of the bible is accurate.
Salvation that is eternal life is the gift of God & not of works. But we are saved daily from wrong choices when we follow after the Spirit. We can still make wrong choices & there is no eternal reward for that. But for those who build on the Rock Foundation obedience to Gods Word have eternal soul rewards. This is saving our soul from conscequence of bad decison & receiving eternal rewards for good decisions.

Those who believe they can contribute something towards their salvation will have to answer 'No.'
Those who believe salvation is entirely the gift of God will have to answer 'Yes'.
Think about it, then please read Hebrews ch 7 vs 23-25 & ch 10 vs 10-18 & 39, cf Philippians ch 1 vs 6.

Yes and No... yes in that the only time I feel a person is once saved, always saved is when they walk through the gates of Heaven, but down here on earth, no I don't believe once saved, always saved. The Bible says no man can pluck you out of the hand of God, but you can jump out of the hand of God yourself. A person who walks away from the goodness of God is no longer in a saved state.

I don't...i mean , think about it...if a person were to get saved, then totally turn away from God and reject Him, how could God accept that person into heaven? What if a person were to no longer believe in God? Then how does their faith save them?

I believe ,that you can loose your salvation by constantly living in sin and then dieing in your sin.
Many rely on the scripture in Revelation 3:5, where it says, that for those , who have overcome, (meaning, that they have relied on Jesus for everything in their lives) , will not have their names blotted out of the Book of Life.
That is the preaching I have often heard in Baptist Churches.
