John took his blind date to the carnival. "What would you like to do first, Kim?" asked the man. "I want to get weighed," said the girl. They ambled over to the weight guesser. He guessed 120 pounds. She got on the scale; it read 117 and she won a prize. Next the couple went on the ferris wheel. When the ride was over, John again asked Kim what she would like to do. "I want to get weighed," she said. Back to the weight guesser they went. Since they had been there before, he guessed her correct weight, and John lost his dollar.

The couple walked around the carnival and again he asked where to next. "I want to get weighed," she responded. By this time, John figured she was really weird and took her home early, dropping her off with a handshake. Her roommate, Laura, asked her about the blind date, "How'd it go?" Kim responded, "Oh, Waura, it was wousy."

One day this guy was sitting at this bar in chicago and looks over and sees this guy that looks exactly like him. He says to the guy, " Hey you looks just like me!"

The other man agrees and asks, "Where are you from?"

The first guy answers, " chicago "

"Me too" says the second guy, " what street do you live on? "

" forty-Ninth Street " , answers the firsts guy

" Me too" , Says the second guy, becoming increasingly excited. " whats your address?"

"951"

" Me too! Wow this is incredible! What are your parents names?"

" John and Cathy" , says the first guy.

'" ME TOO" shouts the second guy, " I wonder if we're related?"

Meanwhile, the bartenders, are changing shifts and the guy coming on asks if anything is new.

" no", says the first bartender , " just the Smith twins, drunk again"

So is this really terrible.....Today in the mail I received the invitation to my bridal shower. Ahh...I immediately felt ill like I was going to throw up. It's like the finality of it all....this is the real deal. I love my finace dearly....we have been together for over 8 years and really we are just making it "official", but there is something about marriage that terrifies me.

My parents had a nasty divorce and I have so many young friends who are either divorced or unhappily married. I just don't want to ever end up that way....marriage scares me!!!!

Is this bad to be actually feeling ill over this? Should I be worried? Any suggestions on how to calm myself and rid this nauseau.

My new scottie has one ear that sticks striaght up and the other is floppy. I was wondering if this was caused from an "ear clipping gone wrong" or if this is normal. It doesnt seam to bother her and isnt sinsitive to the tuch....

All the good rules to live by out there, and not enough people living by them. There are rules of kindness and honesty in basically all religions, but people tend to focus on the odd rules that allow bigotry, judging (usually false) and self-righteous indifference. Even the most basic social rules of conduct and interaction are ignored on a regular basis. What causes otherwise intelligent people to behave this way?

On most of my job interviews (after telling them I was in the Army) they asked me if I could handle stress. Are they kidding?. Were they trying to be sarcastic? Do a lot of people think the army is just running around the woods shooting a rifle?

Most of these jobs I got turned down for made me start thinking there are a lot of military haters out there.

I have watched a programme just now, about breasefeeding.
Don't get me wrong i am 100% for breastfeeding as i fed all four of my children, but you have to know when to stop!!!
if you can do it for about 6 months, you're a star, but to go on till the age of 8, to me thats just creepy......
