lol. I do believe honest is the best policy, sometimes it gets me in trouble. I also believe in the golden rule.
People are inherently selfish creatures. It sometimes makes me wonder how I can be human.

human beings have been born to stay to tell the story. We basically abide to the regulations of society (e.g. being large, etc.) with the aid of fact we can without worry of dying or being injury. Now if all technologies grow to be long gone and the worldwide grow to be thrown in some variety of Triassic era, the clever human beings might give up being large to a minimum of one yet another and start up off killing for foodstuff, and working with persons on condition that it serves their interest. The idiots will attempt to help particularly everyone, and then get killed. In different words, we'd be cavemen who could desire to do calculus. We lie as a thank you to ward off entering into difficulty, which all of us understand gets us punished, which all of us understand will injury us the two mentally or bodily. If particularly everyone grow to be "ideal" and consistently instructed the actuality and took the punishment, there does no longer could desire to be punishment with the aid of fact it might accomplish no longer something.

This is an old lesson actually~ Sin is easier (being bad) is way easier than being good. That's why it's called the 'high road' when you do good instead. It's a much harder road to walk, and the easy ways are always in our faces, while the right way tends to be something you have to 'seek'. That's because Satan is always trying to lead us astray, and being tainted from birth with original sin, and having free will we are more likely to choose the easy way. Thus, bad behavior reigns.

Grossness of conduct is the human's default setting and remains so until one turns against this seeming madness of mortal thought. You must recognize the face of evil within before you can recognize the need to destroy it through and understanding of Christ.
