Tucking in a tie looks dorky. You should practise tying it so the top end doesn't reach down to your belt. A little above (but not half way up your chest!) If you want to look really cool, add a tie clip to keep it in place.

nope. but if you want to hold the tie back and out of the way, a tie tack or chain works great. However, if you're wearing a vest with your dress shirt, the tie should be on the inside of the vest.
