Whenever I read magazines or books too much; my head starts throbbing with pain. I get a little bit dizzy and have to rest a little to make my headache go away.

I watched a LaRaza meeting on CSpan last night. The main assertion was the illegal immigrants have a right to be in America and to stay here. They also asserted that over 70 percent of Americans agree with them. They are incorrect, of course. They stressed immigrant voting as a means to their end. I certainly hope strong measures will be taken to prevent voting by noncitizens. Our country has a right to immigration quotas and border enforcement just like Mexico has. Nobody has the "right" to sneak into our country and demand to stay. I simply cannot understand why they pretend otherwise. Does anybody know why they actually think America is agreeing with their wrong-doing? Claiming they do work others wont is nonsense. It has been proven that wages have been driven down by immigrant labor. They will do work at less than a living wage. I do not dislike any foreigner, but this is not fair to the citizens of America, and only the employers here are benefitting.

I don't understand this. Why is this acceptable? Does anyone else agree it's rude? Reasons why I think it's rude:

-your guests travel to your reception site, get dressed up, buy and gift.....AND you expect them to bring their own food. OMG, rude

-Sanitary Reasons. I've worked in restuarants and catering. I know a lot about food safety and such. How are you sure people use proper sanitaization in their home kitchens? Are you sure they don't have bugs? Did they wash their hands while preparing food? Was it cross contimated with raw chicken or egg?

As a guest, I don't eat potluck unless I know every single person present. If I don't know you, how can I be sure what I'm eating is sanitary. Just grosses me out and you never know every single person there.

-What if you invite 50 people and only 25 bring food. How are you going to feed all those people?

-What if the guest can't afford to bring anything. Say Great Aunt Jane lives on a fixed income

I have tried so many different home remedies and store bought products in the past week. And honestly they have gotten even worse since I treated my house. I am debating whether to get a teminator to come kill them or buy a product and do it myself. I want to go with the cheapest most effective method. The cheapest terminator I found was $70 for two sprays. If you list any products please tell me if you have used them the price and how effective they are. Thanks!!!

Why are Cuba, China, and the former USSR called Communist when they aren't. True communism is run by the people for the people (sound familiar?), not by dictators. The main difference between communism and democracy is the goverments role in economic decisions (the later is stricter). So why are second-world countries called communists?

I am at a cross roads. My dilemma is this. I am single, with no children. Presently, I live in a small, economically depresses city called Danville, Virginia. Check it out in Wikipedia. I work for the federal government (law enforcement). I have a Bachelor’s Degree, and currently pursing a Masters Degree in Emergency Management. The house that I live in is owned by my Aunt who is going to sell it; however, she is giving me first opportunity to buy. The problem is I do not want to get stuck here. I have applied for another federal job in Los Angeles, and stand a good chance of getting it. Should I try to buy this house, or just move even though I have not heard about the LA job yet? By the way, I am looking at the Long Beach area.

Rick Steves recommends stopping in Brussels on the way to Amsterdam, but he's a bit vague about technicalities. Can I buy a Eurostar ticket, leave London and arrive in Brussels, spend the day and night, and the next morning continue my trip to Amsterdam on the same ticket? Or will it only let me stop in Brussels for a few hours and I have to go to Amsterdam the same day?

My boyfriend of 2.5 years is seriously considering enlisting in the Air Force; I'm having a very hard time dealing with his decision, but I believe much of that is due to my lack of knowledge of military life. From what I understand, he is looking to enlist for 2 years & he is hoping that his test scores will allow him to get a job that would translate well to civilian life. Any suggestions?

Basically, I want to know any details anyone can give me about the Air Force!

I really want to know about deployment & moving around. I'm currently in nursing school & we are not getting married until after I graduate (in 2 years), so I cannot & will not move around with him while he is enlisted. How exactly does all of that work? He is hoping to go to the base that is closest to home, but some of the other answers I've read discuss being moved all over. Do you only move while enlisted, or would he be required to move after his 2 years are up? How does vacation time/visitation work?

I would like to hear some opinions on this team. They have some sound weapons on offense in Braylon Edwards and Winslow. I think Jamal Lewis has had it and Quinn wont be ready to run the offense. Though I am a lifelong Browns fan I dont see them winning more then 6 or 7 games this year. Is Brady Quinn finally the QB of the future for this team? Injuries are starting to hurt them again this year amidst some more bad luck. What are your thoughts?

What can I do about it? He is otherwise healthy, happy and playful. The other (I think) is female. Her nose changes colors periodically.
Both eat the same premium food, get minerals, egg supplement, fresh greens, and live in the same cage.
He IS a bit of a "scardy-cat" and won't allow handling.

Hello,

I have twin daughters, one is in her last year of med school to become an anesthesiologist and the other decided not to go to college. The daughter that decided to not go to school is engaged to an investment banker. That got everyone in the family's attention.

My daughter that is in school gets no attention at family gatherings (and we are a big family who has alot of them). I don't understand as I am very proud of her. Everyone is focused on my engaged daughter (and not just because of the wedding). My other daughter feels left out. I don't understand the reasoning behind this as they are both equally friendly and outgoing. My daughter that is in school tries to talk about how excited she is to be in med school and become what she always wanted to be...but no one listens and just brushes her off.

Thank you to anyone who helps...it will be greatly appreciated! :)

This ties back to my previous question, my friends are being told their monthly payments will be around $1200 for a $120K house using a 6.7% interest rate on a 30yr fixed. Seems impossible to me when comparing to amortization tables (I come up with 800/mo).

Some of the answers told me the explanation could be PMI which I know means "Private Mortgage Insurance" but not much other than that...

For my house I have a 80/20 loan since I put no downpayment and my rate is about $1300 a month, but my house was $185K

I don't understand how they could pay only $100 less than me for a house that costs so cheaper, so please explain this PMI and why they just cant get an 80/20 loan?
