Not really. It's good for digestion. If constipation is a problem for an adult, I'd recommend eat more raw, fresh fruits and veggies, avoid cheese and bananas...they both cause constipation. Drink 6 to 8 eight oz. glasses water daily, and stir 2 to 3 tablespoons ground flax seeds into 4 to 6 oz. vanilla yogurt (not the sugary kind) and eat that after dinner/supper every evening, then drink another glass of water or your peppermint tea. The next morning your constipation problems will go away, fast. Water is necessary in the human body to lubricate bowels. Not drinking enough water can contribute to constipation.

Its a good aid for digestion and also can help to stop you from feeling sick. Drink it after a meal to help with your digestion.
