You, sir, are a fair-minded, realistic Browns fan, and that seems to be fairly rare judging from what other people write about the Browns on here. I agree with your assessments of Lewis, Edwards, and Winslow. I also agree with your prediction for their record this season.
I think it's too early to judge about Quinn, so I'm not even going to try. The Browns gave up a LOT to get him (seeing as that pick they gave to the Cowboys is going to be a top 10 pick), so I hope for their sake that he pans out.
The Browns have the misfortune of playing in the toughest division in the league right now. I think they are at least 2 seasons away from putting together a team that has a shot at a playoff spot.
They have some good, young talent on offense that could turn them into an offensive power soon. Once they pick up some talent on defense and some more talent at RB, they could be looking at a good playoff run, but I don't think this will happen for at least 2 years. Also, I think they'll have to lose Crennel as coach because he just doesn't seem to have the smarts to put together a decent gameplan. Whenever I see the Browns on TV, they always look like they are getting outcoached.
This year, I think they'll be battling with the Falcons for the "honor" of having the worst record in the NFL.

Quinn is gonna need a year to progress like Calson Palmer did. I see a 6-10 record. The signings of guards Seth McKinney and Eric Steinbach, as well as the addition of No. 3 overall pick Joe Thomas add that to LeCharles Bentley and finally debut with the Browns, it will be a drastically improved unit that can block Frye and give him time to throw the ball. They really need to consider building for the future on defense which is what wins thier division. (Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cincinatti) They start the season 2-4 beating Oakland and upset Pittsburgh. But they play Arizona and Houston too. But the rest of the schedule is tough with New England, the improved San Francisco.

6 wins seems reasonable. they are built for the future. quinn has to be the QB of the future after getting 20+ mill for being the 22nd pick. however, they lose next years pick to dallas and that pick will likely be in the top 10. winslow and edwards are good players, the browns have a revamped oline and a new RB. the only reason why i think they will get around 6 wins is because they play in the afc north with pitt and cincy and baltimore.

Edwards and Winslow are both gonna be great. Lewis can be good but can also be very bad. I don't like Quinn personally I wish Frye would get the job and keep it and Quinn would get traded to like the Lions for Mike Furrey.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket with rookies, look at the Bengals and Kenny Irons...
However, looking at the same team with Carson Palmer, it worked out. It's just too early to tell. I think with some luck, the Browns will break even.
When Quinn takes over, I will miss FRYe vs. RoethlisBERGER on HEINZ Field. That game always makes me hungry and the joke never gets old...

Look what happened with tim couch... one of the best college QBs... terrible! edwards and winslow have been here for a while and still... the browns suck. until we get better coaching and a line... we will always suck.
