I watched a LaRaza meeting on CSpan last night. The main assertion was the illegal immigrants have a right to be in America and to stay here. They also asserted that over 70 percent of Americans agree with them. They are incorrect, of course. They stressed immigrant voting as a means to their end. I certainly hope strong measures will be taken to prevent voting by noncitizens. Our country has a right to immigration quotas and border enforcement just like Mexico has. Nobody has the "right" to sneak into our country and demand to stay. I simply cannot understand why they pretend otherwise. Does anybody know why they actually think America is agreeing with their wrong-doing? Claiming they do work others wont is nonsense. It has been proven that wages have been driven down by immigrant labor. They will do work at less than a living wage. I do not dislike any foreigner, but this is not fair to the citizens of America, and only the employers here are benefitting.

RG: Thanks for the links. After reading this, Americans surely need to unite to vote out every politician, Repub. and Demo., supporting this treason. Americans are being made slaves to Mexico.

La Raza becomes emboldened every day by the fact that our political elites cater to them. They BRAG about registering voters. Everyone knows what they are doing but our/their politicos look the other way. Look at their march slogans,
"Today we march, tomorrow we vote". Pretty clear message.
Now you would think that our government would want to investigate something like that but instead they want to give them your tax dollars so they can continue with their agenda.

Representative Ruben Hinojosa (D-TX) introduced a bill that would fund the National Council of La Raza – a pro-illegal immigrant group. The bill, named the Hope Fund Act of 2007 (H.R. 1999) would allot $5 million to La Raza in 2008, and $10 million each year thereafter.

La Raza actively supports legislation that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants currently residing within the United States. According to their website, La Raza supports an immigration bill that would include:

a path to citizenship for the current undocumented population
the creation of new legal channels for future immigrant workers
a reduction of family immigration backlogs
Congress must not finance anti-American groups such as La Raza - especially not through U.S. tax dollars.***

Hillary Clinton has hired a past president of La Raza to help run her campaign...any questions about who she will cater to if elected?

Honestly neither wants it fixed. Think about it! Latinos usually vote Democrat, so the more they get to vote for them the better. Dems start to go against immigration, they lose all those votes. Illegal immigrants will work for very low wages. Republicans won't touch it because illegal immigration provides them with a steady flow of cheap labor. They may moan about how they wish it would stop and how they want to double security or build a fence or guard towers or a neat moat with a strange monster in it, but no one will ever do more than a token gesture.

That is their stance, Yes. Don't forget that it is also highly likely that they are receiving funds from Mexico to help their cause. Because now Mexico is sticking their big fat nose into American immigration policies. By telling us we have obligations to take care of Mexico's poor people who are already here, and still coming.

Where the hell did Mexico's responsibilities disappear to? Because obviously the Mexican Representative here in the US seems to think that Mexico must do something about their illegals coming here. And take responsibility for a change. To not dump it all on America anymore.

Send emails, faxes, and phones calls to the Mexican Embassy located here in the USA. Tell them what you think.

I just wish we that appose amnesty had someone as adamant as LaRaza, ALCU and such on our side, we that appose amnesty only have each other and the belief that we the tax payers have the right to set our immigration policy not the illegals and their enablers no matter how hard working or well intended they are. I also believe with the help of La raza and others that Mexico is trying to colonizing one illegal at a time

Would La Raza be demanding rights for illegals if the majority of illegals were from Germany, Sweden or Japan?

Their hypocrisy is really annoying.

La Raza = Hispanic thugs! The KKK could take lessons from this devious, hate mongering, law breaking bunch of illegals! I have no interest in their propaganda! I do have an interest in seeing them deported and put back where they belong! Not in our America! You don't walk into the greatest nation in the world and demand anything! We can't be bought or paid off, unlike the politicians, we care about our country and our people,!

I agree with you 100%. Most Americans do NOT agree with letting the illegals stay. It seems like it has come down to a hispanic issue, but that is not the case. If you have come into the country illegally, you should be deported, end of discussion.

I have suggested more than once that maybe we should adopt the Mexican immigration laws. They are more strict than any in the world. If they are allowed to have laws like this, why do we have to put up with having illegals sneak into the country, then DEMAND that we give them aid and health care? The U.S. needs to stop taking care of everyone else and take care of their own first. There are plenty of people in the U.S. that are homeless, starving, and in need of assistance that illegals are gettting. Take the money from someone who hace come here ILLEGALLY and give it to a true American citizen who really needs it.

Basically LaRaza sees the US having no rights to enact laws to protect itself or its borders. LaRaza also feels it is in their power to one day take control of the US Southwest and West and make either a new province of Mexico or their own country with no interference from the US.

What about some banks giving them home loans and credit cards? And ppl wonder why interest rates are going through the roof. Either that or they run so many credit checks on you, to artificially drive down your credit score so they in turn can drive up your interest rates. I know this FOR A FACT!!! Because that is exactly what happened to me. To top it all off i called them over seven times to lower my interest rates due to their illegal practice, and they will not do it. It's starting to get very dangerous.
