Didn't it just always make no sense?

I remember when I was young, and a Christian, the story of Noah was especially hard to swallow.

For over 40 years I was able to believe Jesus was the "son" of God and also see the bible as ONLY metaphors and parables.

When a team intenually walks a batter. Why does the catcher stand behind the plate with his arm stuck out and the pitcher strows the ball outside the plate. Why don't he just stand outside the plate and play catch with the pitcher for 4 balls.

I know I already asked the question...but, thought I would rephrase it. It seems conservative, religious America is always concerned about the message being sent today to kids via the celebrities and how they dress...Paris, Lindsay, Britney, Madonna, the Bratz dolls even, etc...

Many conservatives preach that celebrities should be a role model and they don't like the fact that their children imitate the dress of these celebrities.

So, what if the first lady dresses like a Bratz doll? What message does that send to your children?

There seems to be a double standard when it is the liberals whose wardrobe you judge...but, when a Republican's wife dresses like a (*&^ it's o.k.?

I work at an office. I am part time. I have a 5 month old and a boyfriend in the Army. I don't make that much money and I get no respect. I run the office and I know they would be lost with out me. I bought the car a few months ago to learn to drive with and want to buy a newer car. Its a 1991 Honda Accord, EXI, 2 door, dark blue, sunroof, power doors, power windows, AC, cruise, new brakes and new spedometer (I paid for these), clean inside, paint peeling on the roof and small rust around the tire wells, Automatic. Yesterday...i had this really weird sensation, numbness like feeling along my entire left leg. It occurred when i was sitting normally on a chair. I had to stand up move about, then it became better. But as the night went on, sitting or standing, i still felt this weird numbness on my left leg though it was mild. I had it even when i slept.


I woke up the next day, the numbess had gone on my left leg. But now, my left arm started to feel like its nerve has been pressed on. The feelling starts from elbow through to all my fingers, being the last finger having the most weird sensation.

I'm very worried about this, i went to the physio today, did abit of stretching and stuff, still didn't clear the problem. old. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

-i'm 25 yrs old
-i'm not diabetic
-i don't feel headaches,nausea

In some ways he deserves so much respect in other ways ehh... I question it... Ways he deserves it is by of course his overall statistics and being probably one of the top 10 maybe top 5 pitchers everywhere. 2nd he protects his players. It's obvious the Blue Jays were still sore about the Arod yell and threw at him 2 days in a row. I think they are a bunch of wusses for doing it in Toronto instead of doing it the series after the incident in NY but that's another story. I fully support him beaning Rios and a 5 game suspension for a pitcher is 1 start so not much loss there...

Ways I don't respect him... Play a full damn season... pitching half a season and getting paid top 5 in the league is ridiculous..

I guess this is more of a vent than a question, but what are your opinions about him beaning Rios??? Warranted? or what?
