She said herself when Bill was in office, "we are the president" Does anyone think that it shouldnt be allowed for a couple to be president/first lady and then turn around and become the opposite? To me it seems like electing the same president over. Im just wondering other peoples thoughts.

I am not asking personal opinions on hillary.

My husband and I have been together for 5 years and Married 1. We have always gotten a long until we go married. We seem to fight a lot and want different things. I want to have kids and start a family and he wants to go out a drink and come home at all hours of the night. I feel like I come last on his list. The relationship seems like it is based on everything that he wants. I have tried talking to him about this but he just yells and tries to throw everything back on me. is marriage really this hard? I thought we should be happy and spend a lot of time togehter. Is there anyone who is going through this? How did you handle it?

"And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven."

I do not know about all of Christianity, but I do know Catholics say "father" to their priest...

Is this not a complete contradiction to what happens in churches across the globe? If the Bible is the word, why not follow it completely? Or does Jesus mean this in a symbolic sense (Call no man your GOD on Earth, for you have one GOD...)? I am not trying to disprove Christianty here, just wondering how Christians feel about this.

My co-worker is having a Backyard BBQ to celebrate her and her husband's 1st anniversary. Should I bring anything like a gift or card or something else? It's going to be very casual with her family and friends.

kk im 17 and i see girls on the bus, train etc,,,, that take a liking to me (not to sound big headed). Only problem, is that I am awful at guessing ages.

Example, i saw a girl today on the bus, she looked about 15-16 but her mates looked slightly younger.

I sat on the bus three places in front them. The oldest one (i believe), moved away from her friends and sat in between them and me (the seat behind me), as soon as I sat down.

She kept looking at me, so obviously liked me!

She was really attractive but i would feel embarrassed, if i asked for her number, only to realize she was only 14, when i believed she was 16 lol.

Im 17 and i would probably go as low as 15 (if she looked older than her age).

Any help?

How does one know which Bible to read? Why have churches dropped certain gospels out of the Bible? Doesn't content get kind of lost through translation...where as the change of one small word gives a whole new meaning to a statement? So how does one know that what the bible says is actually truly what it said to begin with. When you cange words such as we, they, and I a sentence changes immensely.
Which WORD id THE WORD of GOD and why would anyone take away from it?
How do you feel about servitude in the Bible? Wouldn't that be slaves in todays terminology? (please forgive the spelling)

a record deficit,
has not vetoed one spending bill until Dems took over congress.
This bogus war of his that costs billions every week.
yes dems voted for it but sane people can change their mind.
insanity is when you keep doing the same thing repeatedly
(Stay the course) and expect different results each time.

I have been asked to dance at this India Independence day function whoch is next Sunday. I have picked a new song to dance to but I can't find the time to practise. They wanted something devotional so I had no choice but to do another song.
I havn't found the time to practise since I have so much coursework to finish and extra work so I can be fully prepared for my GCSE year. I'm not sure if I should still perform - I would really enjoy it but then again I don't have the time or much time to practise. I just don't want to let them down. I will also be dancing at my cousins wedding so I will have less time to work.

Advice please... Do you think I should still go ahead with it?

Now, imagine that you could remove these ten from the media attention. With what ten would you replace them?

Can we go for twenty? Let's remove 20 pathetic, decadent, parasitic celebrities from our imaginary media world, and nominate 20 replacements who have actually DONE something substantial for society, for the world.

For example, delete Paris Hilton and that friend of hers, the Other Drunk Blonde Driver. Now, let's replace those two with, say, somebody who has offered to take the place of a prisoner or rebel leader in Darfur so he can get medical treatment. Or someone who does work with the homeless. Or someone in animal rescue.

What do you say?

I'm always hearing about police brutality caught on tape and the fact that they got secret video of so and so's wedding.
How come all these 'citizens' don't use their obvious investigative capabilities in catching actual crooks?
How come our civic duty is to catch Britney buying gum but not in catching Joe Bad Guy breaking and entering?
