Leave the weights alone. If you like do the exercise without the weights just to maintain some kind of regime.
If it hurts AT ALL STOP!

Stop immediately, when you no longer have a pain, this could take weeks or a few days, then begin using light weights for at least 2 weeks.
Naturally you can still work out you legs and walking is good as it increases blood flow and will promote healing.

Yes stop lifting weights for about 2 weeks or till you are comfortable. By then your shoulder injury will have healed.

slowman,
if you hurt your shoulder doing anything you need to stop
let it heal, depending on the severity will depend on the length of time.

If you go to rehab ( recommended ) there are some exercises you can do to make it stronger. When you return to your work out start again slowly

Well infact you do stop exercising for like a week or 2...like u want to recover faster,go swimming like twice a week...and after that go to e gym and lift light weights, adding weights on slowly.

The best routine is to alternate swimming and weight-lifting on different weeks. For weights,STOP the moment u feel pain in our shoulders.Don't work out anymore.

But for now i recommend that u go swimming for a week or 2 then go back to weights for a week and do e alternate rotation of swimming and weight-lifting for the next 1 month or so...you'll be well by then to lift weight, but rmb to start slow and light...dun rush it...it can get serious if u continue to lift weights.

rest the injured shoulder for three days, then cautiously use very light weights for at least two weeks before getting back into your routine, be more careful next time.
