There aren't any sites that offer this information for free. However, if someone like an insurance company pays for your driving history and denies you insurance or changes your rate b/c of it, you have the right to request a free copy of the report they based their decision on. This happened to me a few years ago. Geico raised my rates. I requested a copy of the ChoicePoint report. It came to me for free and, surprise, was inaccurate. I made the appropriate contentions, the erroneous info was removed, and it's been ok ever since.

This law is similar to the one that requires potential creditors and employers to provide you a copy of background checks and credit reports.

Check your State DMV online. My State allows you to view your driving record online by using your driving license number. Not all do this though.

No, you can't do it over the internet. You have to go down to your DMV, show your id to prove who you are, and pay a small fee (usually $5 or less), and they'll print it out for you.

Sometimes, you can print the form off of your state DMV website, mail it in with the fee, and they'll mail it back to you if it's the same address they have for you on file.

Wouldn't you think that since a drivers license is issued by your state, it might be helpful to mention that state in your question?
