That's the point: losing weight too fast can reduce your muscular mass. Take a longer time and everything will go well.

Possible if you cut off your arm too, but that would not be a good idea!
It is possible to lose so much weight, but would be dangerous because you would be losing alot of muscle, electrolytes, and water, not much fat from such a drastic weight loss. Your body would be stressed. It is safer to lose weight of 1-2 pounds a week so your body can retain muscle and fluids. Fat loss must be gradual.

The most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the "moderate" fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode. Another overlooked way to burn fat is by lifting weights. Skeletal muscle has very high caloric needs... almost twice that of adipose (fat) tissue. Put on a little muscle and you will burn calories all day even at rest. Be aware that skeletal muscle weighs more, so with this approach you may see your weight increasing while your body fat is melting away. Not realizing this often stresses folks who think they should be losing weight as a measure of fitness. Forget the scale, look in the mirror and you will be happy. Well many celebrities are using the detox diet where you drink this mix of cayenne pepper and syrup for two weeks and loose 20 pounds, but on detox diets the weight is usually gained back in the next couple of months. I suppose if you worked out you wouldn't lose any muscle mass.

Not while maintaining your health. Severe weight loss like that is more likely to have you hospitalized plus without eating essentially muscle is the first thing to go. If you are looking for healthy tips try www.gimme20.com

Not safely. I believe the safe method is to loose a pound a week. Try drinking more water. You would be surprised how much water we retain and how much water weight you loose. Most people mistake hunger for thirst.

might be possible, but definetly not safe. youd pretty much have to starve and dehydrate yourself and that can be extremely dangerous. it can cause electrolyte imbalances, and i heard somewhere that electrolyte imbalance from anorexia is how terri schiavo had a heart attack and went into her coma. 1 lb a week is generally the recommended pace.

No, losing more than 2.5 lbs a week can cause helth detriments and losing weight to fast makes your weight bounce back up to what it was before you lost weight. (sometimes more)

possible, yes, healthy, not at all. you'd basically have to not eat and only drink small amounts of water. if you are thinking of doing this, i would suggest a slow and steady diet plan.
