I read a letter to the editor in a local newspaper with someone saying they were a former army lieutenant commander.

I knew right away Lieutenant Commander is a Navy rank, but I've also heard 'commander' used in the abstract sense. Is there any possibility an Army person would use that title, or was the person full of it (that's my prediction).

It wasn't a particularly controversial letter, but I think the person may have been trying to bolster their credibility.

I think she has really turned out to be a beautiful woman with class. She has not gone the path of those other young hollywood starlets. In fact she has gone the exact opposite direction. She is responsible, married and making classiy music now. Of course she is an amazing singer and I hope we will be hearing her for a long time to come without the drama of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, or definitely not Britttany Spears and Lindsey Lohan.

Does that sound weird from a metal head?

I do not talk at school unless someone talks to me, which is not a lot of talking. Sometimes i ask questions but not very often. When a phone call comes, like the library i do not want to take it because im shy. I sometimes bump into people when walking and its embarrasing. I want to change my ways. any ideas, please?

Some say that the protests and fighting contributed to the failure to defeat N Vietnam. This is not about whether we won or lost,whether it was right or wrong. This also is not an attempt to compare Vietnam and Iraq. My question is about us. Are we acting the same(by fighting/arguing with each other) and could it cause the outcome in Iraq to be less than favorable?

The god mentioned in Genesis was from Neptune. He was what we call albino. His skin was white because of faint sunlight on Neptune. His eyes were infared to see in very dim light. He has the ability to spiritualize his body and live anywhere.
Neptune brought others of his kind with him on a space exploration mission. They stumbled onto Earth. He will not keep something away from his best friend that is private and personal to me even if I ask him to. I'm in dire need of help/advice!
I have been dating a guy for 4 years and we run a business. The first year was great sex mad (as it always is) then it slowly started to dwindle..i know this is normal, but its maybe half a dozen times a year now. We don't live together. I'm not the shy retiring type, I'm up for trying anything, I'm attractive, look after my appearance and am very loving and affectionate. I always make the first move, which 99.9% of the time is rejected...usually due to tiredness/too stoned or he has fallen alseep..lol
I have not discussed this with anyone as I wouldn't want to hurt him if it somehow got back to him, so I'm trying this as a last resort! ...I have tried everything I can think of...seduction, the don't talk about it approach, the talk about it calmly approach, the go mental and lose the plot approach, I've even tried asking if he is gay/having an affair/or does he want to end it.I dont nag him about it but for gods sake I'm only human..so should i ?

I'm pregnant with my 3rd child (and last...) and I was wondering if the more children, the earlier you go into labor??? My 1st was a hospital induction, my 2nd was a naturaql induction (birth center) so I'm really not sure when they would've come naturally. This time around I want to make sure she comes when she wants.

i have changed the main relay which controls the fuel pump and the ecu. i have fule to the fuel rail when i take off the fuel line. it cranks and cranks and cranks. i changed the distributor. and my last thing is the fuel pump. ive also hear of an "fcm" fuel control module. located behind the glove box. ive read that the soldering in that goesbad and canbe re-soldered. got any help for me. im about to take it to honda and get raped on that deal

Why are Malay People discriminating Non-muslim people like The Hindus and Chinese. I visited Malaysia last week and witnessed a cruel act by these stupid malay people. They just beat up an Indian Couple ( HUSBAND AND WIFE) whose having dinner for mistaken identity... The real culprit stole one of the malay customers handphone and ran away... For those in long-term relationships, do you wear make-up around the home etc. if you aren't going to be going out? I don't, but sometimes I feel I should make more of an effort for my partner and for myself (look way slobish without make-up!). At other times I think that I should give my skin a chance to breathe so to speak.

If you really are convinced that we Christians in R &S section are full of mythological falsehoods. Why is it that you who don't believe feel the need to defend your unbelief?

It seems to me if I said "the boogie man is gonna get ya" and you don't believe the boggie man, your best argument would be to ignore me, as you should have no fear of the boogie man. right?

However I have noticed many of you that say you have no faith, go out of your way to attack that which you do not believe. Are you fearful?

If you really don't believe in God, why debate? You see I do believe, and I must speak of such things as God would have me. But what is your obligation to your unblief?, do you really think that after we that have tasted the Heavenly Gift, can be swayed to unbelief? That you will change our minds?... we that have experienced the Majesty of God Almighty, by the quickening of The Holy Spirit?

I wonder why do you fear God that you don't believe?

Back when the Oslo accords were agreed, there was a great deal of euphoria in both Israel and Palestine. Both countries people were looking forward to the idea of a two state solution. Yet through the lack of any real advancement to the country of Palestine being formed the situation has became worse and worse

Now we have a situation were the vast majority of Palestinian people are living in poverty. They can see no improvement in their standards of life through all of the negations with Israel

Is it any wonder the Palestinian people have voted for the radical hamas movement? In little over a decade through Israel and the West's failure to deliver, the Palestinian people have now no hope. When people have no hope they go for desperate measures.
