I worked for a University in admissions for 3 yrs and been on several teams and I was very successful on all. The last team I was on was working under someone that was dating a co-worker on the same team and she was not doing her job under SOP. That caused a conflict of interest with me and my student. She tried to stop his enrollment because he responded mean but I asked my boss (her boyfriend) to interviene. He said it is out of his hands. The student went over her head to upper management and now is a student. I somehow got a final written warning for this. I never had one before with this company. Within a weeks time after that a tech created a hostile situation for me but I walked away from it. He went to that same boss and reported I cursed and confronted him. The boss biasly believed him and did not come to me. I had to go to HR myself with witnesses that cleared me. On the same day I was cleared, I was fired for a comedy email I sent to my friends that was sent to me. Help!

I have already gone to MEPS and signed but have not gone to basic yet. Can i just tell my recruiter that im not interested anymore. I want out because i wanted to be in EOD. After being told that it wouldn't be a problem, Meps said that i couldnt because i had an MIP. My recruiter said just to pick a job and i could transfer to EOD later before bootcamp. Well that never happened so im stuck with Jet Mechanic (AD) and hate it.

I'm getting married in January. I can't decide who to pick as my maid of honor I have a wonderful bestfriend that I have been great friends with for over 5 years I also have 2 younger sisters that I am very close to that I tell everything too. Once all 3 of them found out that i was getting married they all laid claim to the Maid of Honor title. This is my second wedding so i'm not wanting to have it big I only want one attendant but i dont know who to choose and I also dont want to hurt the other 2s feelings. my parents filed bankrupt. its hard for me to get a loan with there credit. there my only source for co signer. i need additional loans for college than the ones the govenmaent gave me. its not enough. anyone know of any good websites to get student loans with my situation

My sister is 19 years old and she was in a car accident, she was awarded 10,000 for bodily injury. Her lawyer had her come to his office and sign the back of the check, stating that he had to deposit it into his account then deduct 3300 for his fees then cut her another check in 4 days. It has been a week and when she called he stated that he had to first pay the hospital bills before he gives her the check. We called the hospital and they stated that her health insurance has already covered all of the medical bill, so there is no bill out there. My question is what can she do to make sure the lawyer is not pocketing money that is rightfully hers and just saying that he is paying medical bills, also was she supposed to sign the check over to him and around how much of it should she recived considering ther aren't any outstanding bills?

My husband is getting out the Navy this month after serving for 10 years. He's not "retiring" per se, just getting his honorable discharge. I'm planning a surprise party for him and need game/ party ideas. It will be held at a local bar/ diner with karaoke and an outdoor pavilion. Thanks!
