i already know a bunch of advantages, but i dont want to overlook any disadvantages.

yeah, the retractable hardtops... not the removable hard tops for a soft top convertible.

I assume you are talking about the retractible hardtops and not the removeable tops like the ones on the Corvettes.

The only disadvantage is that they take up more room than the soft tops. The newer ones are getting better compacting them.

I wish they made a hardtop/convertible mustang.

With the press of a button the soft top can be put away. Hardtops are a pain when u want to take them off.

I have a friend who owns a Honda Del Sol. While the way the hardtop is stored is nifty, like Fordman has indicated, it really reduces an already small trunk capacity.
