I need to find out how make my waist smaller FAST, and in two weeks. I'm 90 pounds, and I'm 5"1. My waist is 25 inches and I do have a gut that I HAVE to suck in.

So does anyone have any tips? Two weeks. TWO WEEKS. :(

I talked to my 15 year old daughter today about our next steps. Her Dad and I are divorced, but always thought that we would get back together.

He moved due to job reasons and she is staying with me. I live in another state.

I have to make a decision today if we will move back to with her Dad or stay here. I said that we will stay here.

She cried and said "I wish that I would die." She was sad for some time and said that there is nothing to do in this town. She misses her friends and surroundings.

I want to do what is best for her. Yet, I don't want history to repeat.

My ex-husband does put me down and is controlling. I see my daughter as being happier with both parents though.

I care for my child, yet I don't think that she sees that. I don't know how to show it to her.

I've been trying to run Independence War 2 on Vista for some time now. I've tried all the compatibility modes, and I've even downloaded Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and created a Windows XP system. When I try to play it, the message I get is:

"Unable to find a suitable driver to run the game. This means the game will not run. In some cases a reboot of you [sic] machine may solve the problem. Otherwise, you should try to find the latest drivers for your graphics card."

I have all the latest drivers installed for every piece of hardware on my system. Please Help!

Before I put my 2 weeks notice in...I was employed by an Apartment Management company. I was there during the selling and new ownership of the property. I stayed around and they raised me to Assistant Property Manager and were going to hire a leasing agent for me. Well, the only resume that was received was of a very nice and professional black lady. I was for her being hired...however, they didn't want to hire her due to the fact she was black. They told me that they were worried that it would hurt their potential leasing and bother the current residents if there was a black girl in the office. They did hire her...but then soon after she got fired. Due to this comment and other incidents with this company--is there anything I can do to maybe bring this to someones attention?? Nevertheless, they accused me of being racist after telling them to hire her!!! Which that was humiliating enough---My husband is Spanish and my best friend in the whole world is black. What can I do???

The two properties located in Harris County were involved in a trust, and then only involved my brother and I as beneficiaries. There are gift deeds for both properties from my brother and I to each other so we should each own our property separately. my most recent find in life is blues rock, at least i think thats the genre it is, im lying in bed one night & i live one block from a night life spot & these two guys are parked right outside my building jammin to what i would guess is blues rock & i wish to god i had gotten out of bed to ask who it was they were listening to cause i cant get it out of my system. so thats why im here & thats my question, can you recommend any good blues rock...with an emphasis on modern day & also a slant toward rock rather than jazz (i mention the last part cause some other blues rock that was referred to me kind of sounded like jazz or something or didnt have enough guitar or i dont know what) i appreciate the help.

What makes a person capable?

What was it about you that made you capable? Did it come naturally? Did you have to work at it? To me, it seems like all the 'random factors' had to align at just the right time and place for this to happen.(there are no accidents) What did you do at just the right place and time?
Also, is it possible to become more capable? To perfect your capability?
Is that even desirable?
