newcomers 12 months of highschool, I had a Powerpuff women backpack. Sophomore and Junior 12 months, I used a messenger bag with a pentagram and diverse band patches on it. Senior 12 months i did no longer use a backpack.

I totally agree with MOM. You guys carry too much heavy stuff on your back, and for it not to be properly padded----
Do you have someone in your family who is very crafty--sews? Would they be willing to sew some extra padding where your mom wants it?

Well all jansport backpacks have great support on your back. My sister has this backpack but the purple one, she's 7.

tell your mom that jansport has the best bookbags ( i have 1) they do have enough support for your back. show your mom my letter

tell her that you will wear it super high up on your back which is healthier than having it hang at your butt. also tell her that since it is one of the smaller backpacks, you wont have room to fit a lot of books in it so that will force you to carry books in your arms instead of on your back which is also heathier.

i have it and its really comfortable the straps especially and personally I don't like the feel of too much padding it just feels a little too "cushy"
