ice and cream then why the heck did they not add all the other ingredients 2 their name?

Ummmm, hello, they did. Chocolate ice cream, Vanilla ice cream......last time I checked those were names. If you are talking about other ingredients, you would have a 20 word name for it at least. Kind of lame, don't ya think?

cuz its the 2 main ingredients and u can make ice cream in a bag wit just ice and creamish stuff too ;] yum dats liek asking y french fries rnt from france

Because when ice cream was first "invented" they just mixed ice and cream together. No sugar was added because cream was sweet and...most folks didn't have sugar. Later they started adding molasses and honey.

Because it was originally called "iced cream"- shortened later.
I like my animal torture w/strawberries.
FYI -the cows like being milked- otherwise they are in a great deal of pain from swelling.
