Take it to the shop---I have never seen a complaint on breaks that were repaired in the professional shop...

If the brake pedal is hard to push then go with #1 if it acts as usual you do have hanging calipers and they need to be rebuilt or replaced...

you have your booster set on the wrong position. There are usually 2 slots for the adjustment setting. try the other one.

Stuck pressure release valve in master cylinder? (If pressure remains in system after releasing pedal)
