LovelyLarks- I'm so... sorry that happened to your family, especially the part about your daughter. That had to be difficult. I'm glad to hear about the success of your son and grandson. It all works out in the end the way that God has planned. Thx for your answer.

I was a widow with 2 children. I remarried and allowed my new husband to adopt my children (he couldn't have any of his own.) The adoption took away my children's social security rights from their natural father. Eight years later this marriage ended in divorce. He never paid his child support which made it very difficult for this single mother. I took him to court five times within a five year period....the judge slapped his hands and told him to pay up but he never did. I tried to fix the mess but to no avail. My son never got close to this man but my daughter did. She was influenced by his drinking, (I've been a tea-total-er all my life) and also by his new wife's drug use. Two years ago my daughter got drunk and committed suicide. Needless to say I wish I could undo that marriage in 1969 and the adoptions that took place in 1971....but there is a God....he will get his in the end!
PS....my son is a very successful construction contractor, a very good husband and father of 4 boys. He drank but quit 14 years ago....his eldest just graduated with a BA in Theater Arts last year. :-)

My two marriages. The solution two divorces. But, I have to say even with the bad there is good. I have two wonderful children as a result of each marriage. So, if I had to go and make the mistakes again, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

my worst mistake was telling a guy i didn't like that i liked him...i didn't wanna turn into one of those shows you see on disney channal where they just lie and make it worse, so i came out with it. I told him " i don't exactly like you in that way. To be honest, i just said it to make you feel better. I would like to be friends with you first and then if we're good friends, then i would like to start going out."
i don't know your situation,but my best advice is to be honest from the begining....makes it way easier! lol

okay see i have this cousin who lives in alabama.she's also my best friend.my bff.then i emailed her saying something that she didn't believe and she called me a liar and then i emailed her back saying plenty of insults to her and then she emailed me back saying that she didn't think we could be best friends anymore.and right now i'm in texas for a wedding and tomorrow i'm going to her house and i don't know if she'll be excited to see me or anything.and the thing is i live in georgia.she said htat she misses me alot before any of this.but i just don't know what to do.she's my only best friend that i ever had had.

I don't like to remember my mistakes other than to make sure I don't repeat them. Most of the the time what one sees as their worst mistake was undoable...if it was, it wouldn't be as memorable.

I stopped talking to my stepfather. My brother stopped talking to me. I apologized to my brother for treating my stepfather that way and my brother is talking to him again.
In short - I admitted I was wrong.
