I have an upscaling dvd player and so far the dvds look fantastic, but, I was wondering if an HD-DVD or Blu-ray player would be much of a step into the HD world over upscaling to 720p? Also if it is worth it which HD-DVD or Blu-ray player would you recomend. I had my eye on the Toshiba HD-A2 due to the price.

Personally I Think we could actually get stuff done.

Govt. Spending would be cut by 2/3rds

Unfortunately Weed would be legalized, (Oh god, We'll have to live in a country where people can use a cheap effective harmless medicine)

The war would end.

And basically about 90% of our problems would be solved.

So, what do you think would happen, I want to hear all sides of the argument, what if, somehow a libertarian majority was elected to both the house and the Senate.

PS. Please Don't just give a shout out for Libertarians, I want to hear real answers.

Ok, we are renting a house and our lease isnt up until next June. The land lord moved out to California because his child was suppose to be in a movie or something. Well I guess that it didnt work out there because he wants to move back into this house. He wants to break the lease and kick us out by the end of the month. That is hardly enough time to find another house. We told him that if he did this we would need our entire security deposite back so we could get a new place. He said he would have to see the house and its damages first. That is rediculous! I feel we are doing him a favor!! On top of that he is already having his mail sent here and boxes fedexed for him here. He wants us to take it. On top of that I am pregnant and due Sept. 13th. I dont mind moving out but legally or something shouldnt he give us our whole security deposit back and maybe some more time to find a place. What can I do at this point? My fiance is soo scared to make him mad for some reason and I am fed up

A little old lady went into the Bank of Canada one day, carrying a bag of money. She insisted that she must speak with the president of the bank to open a savings account because, "It's a lot of money!"

After much hemming and hawing, the bank staff finally ushered her into the president's office (the customer is always right!). The bank president then asked her how much she would like to deposit. She replied, "$165,000!" and dumped the cash out of her bag onto his desk.

The president was of course curious as to how she came by all this cash,so he asked her, "Ma'am, I'm surprised you're carrying so much cash around. Where did you get this money?"

The old lady replied, "I make bets."

The president then asked, "Bets? What kind of bets?"

The old woman said, "Well, for example, I'll bet you $25,000 that your balls are square."

"Ha!" laughed the president, "That's a stupid bet. You can never win that kind of bet!"

The old lady challenged, "So, would you like to take my bet?"

"Sure," said the president, "I'll bet $25,000 that my balls are not square!"

The little old lady then said, "Okay, but since there is a lot of money involved, may I bring my lawyer with me tomorrow at 10am as a witness?"

"Sure!" replied the confident president.

That night, the president got very nervous about the bet and spent a long time in front of a mirror checking his balls, turning from side to side, again and again. He thoroughly checked them out until he was sure that there was absolutely no way his balls were square and that he would win the bet.

The next morning, at precisely 10am, the little old lady appeared with her lawyer at the president's office. She introduced the lawyer to the president and repeated the bet "$25,000 says the president's balls are square!" The president agreed with the bet again and the old lady asked him to drop his pants so they could all see. The president complied.

The little old lady peered closely at his balls and then asked if she could feel them. "Well, Okay," said the president, "$25,000 is a lot of money, so I guess you should be absolutely sure."

Just then, he noticed that the lawyer was quietly banging his head against the wall. The president asked the old lady, "What the hell's the matter with your lawyer?"

She replied, "Nothing, except I bet him $100,000 that at 10am today I'd have The Bank of Canada's president's balls in my hand."

The most valued resource that there is, is known by economists to be the human resource. The immigration of millions in the past and the present have made the USA the richest and most poerful nation of the world. Althought, Alan Greenspan once said, we need more immigrant workers, we are turning around the equation, by the deportation of immigrants workers. Including, those that are already established, and who had created family and huge capitals. Deporting immigrant is creating a collapse in the housing market in the USA already, it could be followed by a collapse in the retail market in the big cities.

What do you think?

I know fertility decreases rapidly after the age of 35 (for the woman), I am interested in hearing from anyone who has conceived at this age? And how long did it take you? I am 36 and my partner is 28, we have been ttc for about 8 months now. I know everyone is different, but hearing positive stories keeps my hopes alive.

Last month my dad told me that his company was making him move to Florida in September. It's only for 6 months but right now we live in Maryland. I've been in a relationship with my BF for over 3 years and we just turned 18, so technically we could move out but my family gave me such short notice. Lately our relationship hasn't been a walk in the park and I don't think it could survive if I move next month. Should I...

1. Move with my parents and hope for the best

2. Get another job RIGHT NOW and search for a roommate (which could waste time that we could be spending together)

3. Try really hard to convince my parents to let him stay with us

I want to make a health directive and/or living will should I become unable to make decisions. My family would make completely different choices and ignore my wishes except for one sister. I would list this sister as a person to make decisions, but what if we both were injured in a car accident and unable to make decisions? Is there a way to file a health directive that does not involve family members?

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the
world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the
death of a very important person, which almost went
unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey"
died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic
part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in...and that is when the trouble started.
