I medicate myself with alcohol to deal with life and people. I have extreme anxiety and social phobias. lately I've thought of dying again. I have no friends and have no interest in friends because I don't trust people anymore. I basically stay at home when not working...The last romanic relationship I had was over 4 years ago. I AM SICK OF FEELING THIS WAY but have no clue what to do. I went to shrink many years ago and all they want to do is fill me with drugs.....Tonight, someone asked why I don't have any fun in my life. I couldn't just tell them my mental state......so, what now?

If you or someone you know have or are suffering from Post dep, what helps you make it through the day? I'm on depression meds but i still keep breaking down at the smallest things. I'll be fine one moment, then one small thing can set me off to become angry. What are some things that helped you?

My mother in law is 58 y/o and has major drug bills that cost her a bunch of $'s every month. She had had a major coronary and almost died. As a result, she can not get any insurance-everything is out of pocket for her. She has told me that she has tried, but that they always ask for her income and her husbands . Can anyone help? Maybe a pharmasist would know what hoops she would need to jump ? Thanks

how come it says that the skin may stay rosy when the temperature is low because chilled skin cells take up less oxygen? what has oxygen to do with it? thanks.

Well I live in a flat and the kitchen is down right ugly. The problem with it is the counter tops/cabinets. They are the cheap things that you see in low income apartments built in the 70s. It has the white gold speckled plastic counter tops, with real ugly dull poop brown cabinets. The cabinets are in good shape but my landlord has told me that I cannot paint them :(. My appliances are new, but they are white and kind of dull cheap looking ones as well. The flooring is completely bad, its real cheap plastic flooring that I think was meant to look like rock flooring, but it went way wrong. What the hell can I do to make my kitchen appear to be more..modern? Attractive? Anything? I can paint the walls if that helps. I am willing to do almost anything I have spent 4 months with this kitchen and I just cant take another day of it!

I have a Eureka Whirlwind (canister vacuum cleaner). I have probably had it for 4 years or so. Sometimes it "spits" out garbage from the canister. Should a vacuum cleaner last only 4 years? Or maybe the belt needs to be changed? Any ideas?
