My Dad is 43, muscular and like 6'4. He and my mom are divorced so he's dating. Everytime I bring my girlfriend around he flirts like hell. Now he's taking her to the gym with him for personal training sessions and I don't like it. Last week I saw him pat her on the butt after we left the gym together. She says its nothing, he says it's nothing but I'm worried. My Dad is a handsome dude and he dates alot of young women. I'm just scared that he's gonna eventually screw my girl. And yes, I talked to him about it and he said he's not attracted to her and that I should mellow out.

I think it is a British film about a mother who tells her son that his father is at sea...the boy writes letters to him and everything...she then asks a man to pose as the boy's father and a romantic relationship ensues. I saw a preview a while back and can't remember the name.

I went to Homebase a couple of weeks ago for some garden furniture. They checked on their computer and said they have them in the warehouse, i paid and ordered them, they would ring me when they got them to the store. Called them today and they have sold out. I spoke to the manager who said they had called 45 people in the area but missed me. OK that`s human error, but #1 How much money do they have sitting in their bank account earning interest from orders they know they cannot fulfill? #2 They belong to Argos who manage to know what stock they have available when you order. #3 do any other companies you know do business like this?
I`m going to write to their head office but i just felt so irritated by this way of doing business that i would like some views.

For some reason I'm just not getting this one question. I tried to have someone explain it to me but it's just not making sense for some reason. The link is:

And it is Question #7 in Section 2 (about ship in Atlantic Ocean). The answers & explanations are at the bottom of the test. Will someone tell me a quick explanation of why that answer is correct? (I keep getting hung up on the ship sinking around 850 not hundreds of years after that.)

When I was 2 I was at my grandmas,(i got into EVERYTHING)I climbed up on the counter while she was cooking something,and I grabbed the vinegar and I drank the, whole bottle,and then when I was about 3 or 4 I put vaaline all over myself in the bathtub.(don't ask why i did these things,my mom wasn't a bad mom,she is a great one...I was just a little busy body)

I took my car into an auto body shop, to get the bumper and tail light fixed, because I was in a car accident (which wasn't my fault). This shop was recommended by two of my friends, one who used to work there, so I was expecting them to do a really great job. I got home yesterday, and took a look at my car, and noticed that 1) the paint looks darker 2) the turn signal doesn't work and 3) my front head light is yellow. I called the shop, and the manager said that he would be more then happy to fix the paint and fix the turn signal, but that they did not touch the front at all. My car is an 03, and I know for a fact that the head light was not yellow when I dropped it off, because the other one is perfectly clear. They detailed my car, so I'm thinking that someone may have sprayed a chemical on it, or even worse... that someone switched it out. What should I do? Any advice?

He was laying on a foot high retaining wall after school listening to his ipod. Three guys came by and stole it off his chest! He reported it to the school and police, and we also supplied the serial number, just in case it's found.They even have a recording of the guys running away! It was locked with a password, is there a way they could unlock it and use it? Or would they have just thrown it away? Is there anything else I should do?
