Theists, can you find or come up with a "proof" for your god that isn't on that list? I keep hearing theists use the same tired arguments over and over again. I don't think I've ever heard a theist argument that *wasn't* made hundreds of years ago (with Pascal possibly being the latest). 99 out of 100 times on here, theists arguments are derivative of either:

1. The cosmological argument
2. The ontological argument
3. The Teleological argument
4. "It's all faith" (not really an argument)
5. Pascal's Wager

See the first few items on the list in that link for those examples.

A lot of men seem to not plan on having children unlike women who think about it since childhood. When a man has a child I truly believe that they don't love their child, infact they seem disconnected. Are men that emotionless that even when they're married, have a loving wife, and children it still won't make them happy. I believe that no man has the right to see their children because they don't care about them. The only useful thing of a man is his sperm and thats it. Men also obviously don't know what love is, all they know about is having sex. Before all the men start bashing me I'm a virgin, have a brother, dad, and mom. They all treat me well and we're a loving family and yes I've had a boyfriend before and they were all good guys. Its just that all the men I see whether married, not married, fanicially well or unwell, they all seem to have something in common and that is the lack of love toward their children and family.

'Sky' asked a question about if Bush saying that he would rebuild the Minnesota bridge was an inside joke and I clicked on it and it said 'You cannot view this question at this time.'

Why is telling me this?

I am not a big Bush supporter but I think the man deserves a break.

AWOL means prison time not an Honorable Discharge that bush recieved. If the military had a problem with Bush they would have charged him or repremanded him. They did not. If his employer, the United States military, did not have a problem with Bush then why do you?

Please - No DADDY responces. "Bush's daddy this, Bush's daddy that." When you use this line of reasoning it looks plain silly because you can't prove it. I can prove that he got an Honorable discharge. Anybody can look that up! You have to go to the conspiracy web sites to get "info" on Bush being AWOL.

Also RIGHTIES, Kerry deserved his medals that he got in Vietnam. How do I know? Because the US Military said he did. Just like they said Bush served Honorably.

Please stop with the nonsense that you can't prove. Let's stick with things we can!

A football team gained 23 yds on one play. However, the ball was brought back to the line of scrimmage and then the team was given a 15 yd penalty. How far was the ball from where it would have been had no penalty been assessed?

Obama ruled out the use of nuclear weapons to go after al Qaeda or Taliban targets in Afghanistan or Pakistan, prompting Clinton to say presidents never take the nuclear option off the table, and extending their feud over whether Obama has enough experience to be elected president in November 2008.

My 9-year old child asked if he could have a laptop this morning. I don't know what to say. I've seen 9 year olds with laptops, but I think that's a little too old.
Should I give my child a laptop, or not? If not, at what age?

What kind of god punishes people by sending them to suffer for entirety just because they dont believe in him? It doesn't make sense to me. This god seems evil to me, not benevolent. Thinking as if i was god, i would by no means make people believe in me.
Why cant people see that the religion is scaring people to believe?

BTW: I'm and Atheist
