You can get your license at 16, and then you're not allowed to drop out of high school until you graduate.

I'm not sure but I hope you don't drop out of school. Try to stick with it. I know a lot of people in their 20's or 30's who dropped out and have never gone back to get their GED. Even if it's hard and frustrating, it's best to get it done with when you are young and already in school than to try to do it later. Good luck.

i do believe... but what would you want to drop out of school? trust me, your life will be better off with school, no matter how stupid it seems. and yes, if you are homeschooled you will be able to get your license at 16.

If you are homeschooled and they have proof, then you can get your license at 16, but if you drop out of school, then they won't let you get it til' eighteen.

Why would you drop out? Often, HS dropouts will just drive without the license or insurance. It's that whole "rules are for other people" attitude. Maybe you can look into getting your GED.???
