Theists, can you find or come up with a "proof" for your god that isn't on that list? I keep hearing theists use the same tired arguments over and over again. I don't think I've ever heard a theist argument that *wasn't* made hundreds of years ago (with Pascal possibly being the latest). 99 out of 100 times on here, theists arguments are derivative of either:
1. The cosmological argument
2. The ontological argument
3. The Teleological argument
4. "It's all faith" (not really an argument)
5. Pascal's Wager
See the first few items on the list in that link for those examples.

gaelicspawn, your argument is #109 on the list (argument from lack of disproof).
The others listed so far all fall under the categories I listed in the question itself, without even having to resort to the link.
Well, the FSM argument is interesting. I'll concede that.

A-Theist, I see forms of the first half dozen or so arguments on this site all the time, some appearing as answers to this question.

What a wonderful post. What I'd like to see most is a proof that:
No proof can exist regarding the existence or nonexistence of an omni-X, transcendent being that is derived from either the rationalism or the empiricism of a finite set of finite, bounded individuals.
In other words, can anyone prove that no proof of God's existence or nonexistence can exist? The atheist "side" has it easy on this one - nonexistence of proof of a negative conjecture. So, all we have to do is prove that no proof can exist of God's existence. Should be easy enough. :D

Unfortunately, I don't think that Christians have come up with an argument that isn't worn out either. It's just a big vicious circle of arguments with nothing really fresh or new to say from either standpoint. (However I did see the best answer I have ever seen on the argument against evolution today)

The absence of god is proof that he doesn't exist.
The alleged counter argument - "Prove god doesn't exist." is the sign of a weak intellect that is unwilling to put in effort to find answers. They make a claim then go sit on their lazy azz and tell someone else to do the work.
When a person or a party makes claim about something like the existence of god, evolution, gravity or the tooth fairy they are the ones that carry the "burden of proof".
In other words their argument that "Well prove he doesn't exist" is completely contrary to standards of the scientific method and general inquiry.
Let's say I make the claim that I can cure cancer. I bear the burden of proof. It is up to me to publish my findings and evidence so that the skeptics can evaluate my evidence and attempt to duplicate my results.
So, those that claim god does indeed exist are the ones that bear the burden of proof and have to provide to the world their findings and evidence.
It is up to us, the skeptic, to review this evidence and then report our own findings.

No, probably not, but where's the article that talks about disproving each of the arguments?
And also, atheists use the same arguments to "disprove" God as well. So this question could be asked of both sides, whether there's a groovy little website about it or not.

That is the problem with religion. You discover the crutches and then you wear them out. The problem with religious arguments is that they are not arguments at all. A true argument is based on logic, reasoning and critical thinking...religion has none of these.
So, when confronted with a logical argument, they have no choice but to fall back on your 5 examples. They are old and tired and answer nothing. Every one of them come full circle to "Well, its called faith. I have faith, I believe it, end of story."
Its sad to see so many wasted minds out there.

Ever seen a bowl of spaghetti? See pasta exists.
Ever thrown it in the air? See it flies.
Look at the face of your mate when the spaghetti splatters on the floor? It's the look of a monster.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is real.

My only proof is the changes he has made in me and my life. I struggled to get off meth for over 15 years. Once I gave my life to Christ I am free of that addiction. My life has improved so much. I have hope for the future and never feel lonely anymore. I wish I could "prove" it to you, but you have to step out in faith and then you know.

If you tell me an apple is not an apple, I will argue with you that it is in fact an apple.
You will undoubtedly refuse to accept my reasoning rather than refute it.
I will state the same few reasons over and over why it is an apple and as you say "wear out" my reasons.
That however does not change the fact that it is indeed an apple.
