I love Payton. Middles names, hmm... I am too partial to the name Riley.

Congrats on the new baby.
Last name? (Would help to know how the flow sounds. Also will be used more than the middle name.)
Since Payton is stronger and less feminine, I favor pairing it with something softer.
How about:

Have you considered Amber Payton? Or Payton Amber? I think both of those could work.

Oh, I like the spelling Paiton on a girl. I think it looks more feminine ... but that's probably just because I knew one girl Paiton growing up, and two boys - Payton and Peyton. And I think that Amber sounds prettier, but I knew so many Ambers growing up that it wasn't even funny!
