Should you be required to demonstrate that you at least understand the very basics of government and the Constitution before being able to cast a vote?

A very high percentage of the U.S. electorate isn't very well qualified to vote, if by "qualified" you mean having a basic understanding of our government, its functions and its challenges. Almost half of the American public doesn't know that each state gets two senators. More than two-thirds can't explain the gist of what the Food and Drug Administration does.

Basically, i suspect that Internet explorer is being an a*se as usual and rendering my site wrong.

I have problems with some other sites due to some of IEs bugs, The last was down to the double margin bug.

This one however looks more of a problem with widths, I'm not really that sure.

As you can see if you look at the page, the main content has been pushed down under the navigation. and the catorgories menu is higher than it should be.

It all looks fine on firefox,

So if anyone has any ideas of how to fix this problem I would be extremly greatfull. -- I'm pretty sure i don't have any overlaping divs

ok above is the alphabet im gone to give you some sets of numbers but im not going to tell you the mathmatics to get the letter.each set will give you a letter if you work out the math when you have all the letters you will have the title of a film

I had two computers on a network before, one was reformatted and we put all the information back on it.

Computer 1 can see computer two on the workgroup computers but can't access it... all the options are set up for sharing on the network, sharing is on for all the drives and everything else..

I can't get computer 2 to view computer 1 at all...

Please help me i need to setup these two computers for work...

my fiance's parents are hosting the rehearsal dinner.. now let me start off by saying this is the ONLY thing they have done for this wedding, other than give me a headache, and more stress than i can handle (his mother is horrible, petty, mean, and terrible to him for his whole life, not even being petty.. his childhood was a horror story-my entire family, myself, my fiance, and our friends cant stand her..)

now..they want to put a limit on the amount of drinks at the restaurant they are choosing.. (i dont even drink.. but a lot of the guests like a few beers with dinner) They want to pre-pay for 2 drinks for everyone.. and thats all anyone can have.. 2 drinks.. which my fiance and i think is tacky and cheap.. and how do u explain something like that to the guests?!

what the owner did say was that people can order drinks..then his parents just pay for the bill when its over..but they dont want to do that..

just to add they are rich.. seriously.. so its not like they cant pay for it

I am a Christain and my b/f and I live together. Knowing this isnt right, but knowing in my heart we would be married tomorrow if we had the money to have the wedding we want that could include our families (more my desire than his) makes me feel better about being here. I dont think God holds it against people because they cant afford things. So my b/f suggested finding a preacher and having him marry us in a church without a license. His point is to be married in the eyes of GOD, but not the state. Has anyone ever done this and as a Christian would that make living together right? We would feel married and we would have done it in Gods home.

why am i always hungry, i am 20 years old, size 10 but i am always hungry! i eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg, i cook nutrisious meals every day i have tried drinking a glass of juice/water/ herbal tea when i feel like snacking or i try to distract myself from my hunger but am still soooo hungry! this is what i have had today

1 cup fennel tea
2 babybells
1 bag of bbq hula hoops (a little treat)
1 cup of fennel tea
a bowl of grapes

and im soo hungry right now, trying to make my self wait for dinner! why am i this hungry every day all day?

I have a 7 month old Pitbull for the last 3 to 4 day he has been throwing up and won't eat he drinks water off and on. He just lays around the house and throw's up aleast twice a day. I'm so scared. I took him to the vet and he was test for parvo the test came back negative he has all of his shots except the last one which he is suppose to get next week. I just want my KING puppy to feel better can someone please help. PLEASE
