I am having two bridal showers. My mom is throwing one and my fiance's mom is throwing the other. Long story, but they do really get along that's not why. Anyway - who do I have to invite to both showers, if anyone?

Alllllll too often, well hourly anymore it seems,

People are posting on here wanting advice for some bratty horse vice and when seeking professional help is recommend, they totally freak.

How do you think the professionals learned? Trial and error? They learned from other professionals. If its a money thing, then why have a horse in the first place to ruin beyond all means? Just because you get a horse, you can pet horse and you can brush it, doesn't constitute you being a trainer.

Also, why post vet questions and basically same thing, I don't have the money, I just want to see if someone had advice, I will wait a while etc. There is a reason there are vets people.....

I would love to hear why ppl writing in here about training and vet questions and then are so against it, are????

Because these stories, and those of so many other ancient cultures, are perfectly paralleled to those of the Christian Old Testament… I was wondering if those who believe the Bible to be true see those other cultures’ stories as proof of the Bible? Or do they view them as a threat to their own beliefs? Or do they just dismiss them as outrageous myths?

I need to have a pedicure done and I'm not sure what color to use. I want one that's not normal, that makes my big (size 12) feet look smaller, and my horse recently stepped on my toe and there is a huge bruise under my toenail that I'd like to cover up. I have a very unusual style so anything that's not typical will work.
P.S. It would help a LOT if you gave me a brand of nail polish and the color, but you don't have to do that.

I purchased a cake for a friend from a bakery. It is a specialty cake made with rum. I thought that the rum was used for cooking to flavor but would cook out of the cake. The cake had so much alcohol it was burning our throats and no one could eat it. Thank goodness the adults tasted it before the kids got to sample it. Needless to say we brought it back and told them there was so much alcohol it burned our throats. Apparently they just pour the rum over the cake. The bakery acted shocked because I told her we were going to give it to the kids. I didn't know they did this. I thought the alcohol was supposed to cook out of it. I am pregnant and this would have been equivalent to drinking. Was there an error in preparation or are cakes made this way? If they are, why don't they come with a warning label like alcoholic beverages? Like I said, I always thought the alcohol burned out to leave the flavor only.
