I think saying something behine someone's back is worse. If someone tells something bad to you to your face, they're being at least being honest. If someone talks behind your back, it's worse because that makes them backbiters and it some cases liars.

Peace.

Behind their back.

People should always be given the option to defend any statement made about them, or to set any misgiving straight. When things are said not in their presence, words get twisted and things can (and often do) get out of hand.

As a general rule, if you can't look someone in the eye and say it, you shouldn't be saying it behind their backs.

Behind their back. Two reasons why: if you don't have the guts to say it to their face, you shouldn't say it at all, and if they hear what you say from someone else, it could be said not the way you intended.

Talking behind someone's back is never good if it's negative. If it's bad, if you can't say it right to their face, then you shouldn't say it at all! :)

Behind their back is worse ..... absolutely .. the truth needs to be told to the face, as GOD will tell us on the day of judgement.

If people are hurt by the truth ...... its to their own detriment. Everyone must be able to say the truth as they understand it in their hearts without reprimand nor persecution.

Saying it behind their back is meaningless, while saying it in their face may be to draw their attention to a bad thing about them so that they change it.

I would be hundred times more hurt if it would be said behind my back....then I know the insult was for real
same way you know a compliment is genuine if you hear it second hand.....

Both are bad, you just need to say things in a tactful manner.
