I have seen sicko lately and, as a Canadian living in the US for the past 10 years, was impressed by the movie.
I have seen the 2 sides and think the Canadian system is better overal. I understand the claim many americans say why they are scared to the idea of having a Universal Healthcare system provided by the gvt like in the UK or Canada. That's part of the culture and since we have several huge Health Care Insurance companies trading on the stock market, changing this equation will make them suddenly irrelevant hence big changes and lots of people yelling.
However, I have personally no problem with bringing universal healthcare here, but that's my personal opinion.
But one thing I do believe is the need for Healthcare Insurance not to be money driven. These corporations should be non profit organizations and need to provide a statement of their accounting to show how efficient (how much overhead) they incurred. What's your opinion on such proposition?

what are the options if ur charged with hit and run .... it happened while parking .. was with my hubby( poor he .....he's been chrged fr not informing since he s the responsible party)
it was a mistake and damage is like for 1000$ my insurance is ready to pay .. i admitted it to the cops when they came for investigation ...i said i was scared to inform ... i handed ovr the noe which i had already written..
they said that its hit an drun as we did n inform ..now we have to appear in court ..m really scared ..like we r reputed ppl and i dont want any kind of mess ... we already have other trbl gng on in family and with kid .. work pressure ..i dnt know bad timings ..
we r planning to hire lawyer ..but can we get away just paying the fine for two charges ...
plz only seriuos answers ..and no comments on my english as im not american .....!!!!!

They Sacrify an animal in his memory when he tried to sacrifice his Son as per the vision of his dream.

The male circumcission is also practiced by Muslims being started by him.

A friend of mine is claiming shes only 35wks pregnant and that she is going into hospital on mon to be induced because they said her baby is big.Would they do that for this reason. Im asking this as i think she got pregnant before she met her currant partner and is trying to say its his baby when she is further gone than 35 wks, i think she is being taken in to be induced because shes overdue and not because the baby is big.

Now, I know the equation is elapsed time= distance/average speed. I measured my own arm and got 26.25 inches, converted that to meters, punched in the numbers and got 0.0067 m as the answer. However, my physics book says the answer is 10 ms.
...What am I missing?

When I throw b'day parties for my kids (under 10 yrs), some parents ask something like 'hey, what is ryan into? we'd like to get something he enjoys'.
I used to hem&haw, and say something only after the parent insisted a few times. After a few parties, I'm more frank, and say something like: 'oh, thank you for asking, just having Tommy over will be great. Ryan loves books, trains & anything that moves'. Or: 'Andrea loves pretend play & anything Princess.'

My husband feels they might ask, but it is rude for me to mention what the kids are into. I am more like, hey, it is easier for that parent/kid, my kids and me(no returns).
I keep my reply generic, and do not mention any 'expensive' toys my kids might be into currently.

So, is it rude? Or just plain practical. THEY ask, and these are folks who we know but not very well, but kids get along great. My husband feels they can ask their kid what our kid likes...I feel, just mention couple categories..
who's more right?

So i was recently driving and I had my ipod connected to a monster audio FM transmitter when it lost power and the music stopped... i examined it more closely and the cigarette outlet itself was very loose(something i had not noticed before).... so i made a mental note to check on that when I got back home.... I proceeded to put in a CD because i still wanted some music, and that played well for another 5-10 minutes when the car stereo shut off!!!
i was flabberghasted!

What is wierd is that the stereo doesn't turn on, or anything... but when i press the CD eject button it spat out my CD and then turned off again... now if i press the eject button, the screen just lights up blue (completely blank)


I think this is a fuse, but does anyone know where the fuses are? (im driving a 1997 Honda accord, 4dr)

Can anyone help me edit my story? The length of my story is 6 chapters, and about 55 pages. It’s story is about a girl who doesn't know her biological mother and lives with her biological father. She falls in love with a boy and secretly date him, without her father knowing for about 2 years. Then the father finds out that they have been dating after the girl became pregnant. The father gets mad and doesn't like his daughter's boyfriend. Later, they get along after the girl fakes her death. My AIM and yahoo screen names are realxdragonxfire. I got offered a great job in DC almost 3 weeks ago because I did not want to move (no relocation was provided). The more I think about it, I think I made a mistake. I went online to the company website, and as of July 23, it looks like the position is still open. I was thinking I would call or e-mail the HR person I met with, or the hiring manager to see if it was in fact still open, and if I could get another chance if I explain why I turned it down in the first place...

what would you do? Is this a bad idea? Any suggestions on what I should do if the job is, in fact, still open?
