I have a 10 wk old mixed breed pup and I feed him once right when he wakes up (around 7am) again around noon, and then one last time at 6. I also take his water up after his last meal so he will sleep through the night without any accidents in his crate. I would highly suggest doing the same, because it has worked wonders with crate training, and if he seems especially thirsty I'll give him an ice cube to play with and he loves it. Pups will eat 10 times a day if you'll feed them, but you don't want to overfeed them.

i breed dogs really they should not live the mother to soon most breeders will say at 8 week this it because the mother can only teach them the right form wrong at 4week to 10 week of age in dog discipline IE biting her is wrong but only in play they also copy them .that just one example
most puppies need to be feed
between4 to5 a day until they are 6 month old then down to 3
meals when they are 1 yrs old you can go to 2 but slowly wean them of morning meals
this is what i do on a daily base
1 - 6.30 breakfast
12 30 lunch
4.30 tea only a small one
7 .30 dinner

See if you can find the book: "Before and After Getting Your Puppy" by Dr. Ian Dunbar This book lays out feeding, potty and exercise/training schedules, as well as Bite Prevention Training. It saved my life when I got a puppy last year.

At this very young age - 3 times, unless they're a very tiny breed, then you'd be better off feeding them 4 times for a week or two, then down to 3.

Four times a day. Three times a day at 12 weeks, then twice a day at 6 months. Dogs utilize nutrition better if meals are more frequent, so adults should always have at least 2 meals a day.
