Let Us Do Our Best in the absence of Media working for us.
Like We are using Yahoo Answers now.
Like we even display a Blog on the internet site.
Like we publish materials against Terrorism in Muslim community News papers.
Let us Talk about it denounce it while we are communicating with others.
All of it is better than keeping Quite as it might pass a wrong message to others and even Terrorists.

Messages don't mean much. It's what's being done that counts. Have you ever heard a prominent Muslim leader say that the seventy-two virgin story is just a load of bull-sh!t ?
Just last evening there was a TV show about Imams preaching suicide. That's not denouncing terrorism, it's insisting on it.
Have you ever noticed that the Imams preaching martyrism never teach by example ?Martyrism is only for suckers.

Like Conx said, "Action speaks louder than words." Islam is not a religion based on violence. I believe that when a person/people speak out, whether or not they are heard by all, then their intent is to bring about the higher good and that good will shine through. Silence becomes a prison, a black hole, of sorts. There is the Universal Law of Cause and Effect. Eventually the voices will be heard and the intent will move beyond the violence.

Well, first, it let's people know that most Muslims are against terrorism. The Canadian Muslim Congress, for example, dennuonced the fact that Shari'a law almost came to Canada, and it helped. But IMO, many people feel that Muslim groups do not do enough to end terrorism.

As a Muslim, I should do whatever I can to defend Islam and show it in its marvelous truth to all Non-Mulsims, so I show that Islam denounces terrorism and is against it.

Because before the media can even get to a tv camera, something else blows up.

don't you got your own media?
yeah you do, but
why your media too show only war and violence from the muslim world?
that because there is not good thing been done from the muslim world.
stop blaming media, blame your people of doing too little good but too many bombing and killing.

What's wrong with self-satisfaction.
What's wrong with carrying message one person at a time.
