I went into the frickin Gap and they asked if I wanted a Gap card, which I stupidly assumed was a membership type thing, only to find out after the fact that I had just opened another line of credit...I have perfect payment history and I only have one credit card, would it be better just to keep this line of credit open and not use it, or just cancel it, in terms of how it would affect my credit score?

My mom has a mental disorder we think bipolar, she is one of the meanist people i've ever met in my life, she is really emotionally unstable.My siblings and I think she has lost it and have begged her to get counsling but she refuses. When I went to camp two weeks ago, I met a really good friend. I stayed there for a week and so did she. I only had like one good friend in my life. She would be my second. Anyway, she lives in a different state and told me she would call me to keep in touch. She's related, so she'll come over for holidays. She hasn't called and I don't know if I should call her. He doesn't even know Im alive. He come's home every night and eats then goes to bed without saying a word. He doesn't drink at all, he loves to got to the races and bowl and I use to go with him, but it got old and if I would ask him to do something I liked to do he wouldn't.
