When I went to camp two weeks ago, I met a really good friend. I stayed there for a week and so did she. I only had like one good friend in my life. She would be my second. Anyway, she lives in a different state and told me she would call me to keep in touch. She's related, so she'll come over for holidays. She hasn't called and I don't know if I should call her. She has three best friends. I don't want to make the situation akward or anything. Should I call and keep in touch, or is this just another person I should say good-bye to?

You should keep in touch. I mean, what's the worst that could happen. If you think she is a good friend then you should talk to her an build that friendship. Besides if you don't call then she might feel offended or she might feel like she did something wrong to you.

If you really think you should keep in touch then call her. You should call, if she doesn't pick up, call the next day.If she doesn't pick up you shouldnt be mad, she might be busy. But if she doesnt call back, then well I guess you can find other friends. I dont think that would happen.

Well, first off, do you REALLY believe she'll be trustworthy and good friend? Think about it, and if you believe so, give her a call :) You might fit in nicely with her friends. Ask her to tell you about them. Hope it's successful :)

you can call to keep in touch, or email if she has one?

i hope it works out.

do you have activities for kids in your community? the YMCA? swimming or karate? maybe if you joined a group or took a class you could meet more people in these type situations.

i hope things work out! hugs!
