I gave my TV away. End of 2003. TV is boring and too many commercials. Not informative at all.
ABC also makes sure you don`t see real life. They try to ban smoking persons in any of their movies.
Why don`t they ban Sunday morning mess. After all it is not
recommended to reward pedophiles, after they are done raping altar boys.
Everything is censored and pre screened so TV viewers don`t even start to think critically. After all, American high school students are the BIGGEST DUMMIES in the western hemisphere. Just ask where the number 3.14 is coming from.
ask them if they know where the term o.k is coming from.
Or better yet, turn off the TV and ask them to read the editorial in the latest newspaper.
It is not a matter of believing or not. It is rather the capability to think critically and form an opinion. You own opinion

Heavens NO! There is probably more false information out the true facts.
Even when looking in old history books I have found information that was wrong or made up to fit in; but that was much rarer.

As Thomas Jefferson said: "The man who reads nothing at all, is wiser than the man who reads nothing but newspapers."

No.
TV has one objective -- TO MAKE MONEY!
Internet (especially message board) information is about as reliable as going to the bar on the corner in order to obtain medical information.

I think that silhouetted guy on the Internet shaking his arms up and down is a crock. It is a mortgage advertisement, and the biggest annoyance I've ever seen.

No and it absolutely astounds me that so many people do. Especially when they send you to a website that is run by a specific church or another organization with an obvious agenda to "prove" the validity of their argument.

tv and internet is "ruled" by media - by corrupt governments who want us to believe in one religion, have one government, have one idea and so on...
why dont they all just back off and let us believe in what we want, look like what we want to look like, wear what we want....
what happened to freedom of speech and democracy ????
