It is a known fact that both bats and cats have much sharper hearing than humans do. It is also a known fact that the Osprey (type of sea bird) has eyes that are approximately 60 times more powerful than human eyes.

If we are the products of an Intelligent Creator, then why would He give sharper hearing and better eyesite to such lower creatures than the creatures he allegedly created to worship him? Why not give humans bat-like hearing and hawk-like sight?

Or, since we are made "in the image of God", can we assume that God is an old blind man with bad hearing?

Or are we limited by what we can conceptualize and percieve? And, if so, aren't we saying that we are the highest intelligence in the universe? Maybe some other species can grind out answers faster than we can but we are capable of understanding anything they can?

I feel that the original church is the right church. i mean its what jesus founded and not some pope. Yah i really like the pope especially john paul II, but it just doesnt seem to me like its right for me. does anyone else agree with me on this? or if you have any other comments *hopefuly none threatning* that would be great

How do you be nice and a good witness if this lady at work keeps bossing me around (I think because I'm the youngest there) And running all over me. I have to stand up for myself or it will get worse!!! Where's the balance. I don't want to be mean. She know's that I'm a christian too.

Other than "because that's the way it is" or "because that's what the Bible says" can you give me any reason why you have God the Father and God the Son, but not God the Mother or God the Daughter?

I'd like your opinion, outside of "that's the way it is". If YOU can think of some reason why. If you can't think of a GOOD reason, that's cool. I can't either. Please don't quote me scriptures. If you can't help it, please pass on answering this.

My husband just got a charcoal grill for his birthday. We've grilled beef/chicken fajitas, burgers and hot dogs....we're looking for something else! We are considering adopting a 3 yr old female cat, who has been fixed, into our home. Our worry is our male cat, 1 and half years, who we have chosen not to fix becoming territorial around the house and aggressive. We have never had any problems with him spraying in or outside. Will he be able to adjust to a female or will this bring out the "man" in him?

We have owned this truck since new and it has given us many good rides, but my husband is not yet ready to give "her" up. Today he came home and said it was on high idle and wouldn't slow down. He worked on it all day and can't get it to tone down. Also, don't know if it is related or not, but the gas pedel cable broke and he has to get a new one of those. Any mechanics out there have any suggestions to help my hubby keep his baby running. Thanksl

I have a HUGE problem my 2 year old great dane keeps breaking his leash I tried all sorts of leashes and chains but he breaks them all and I had to chase after hime each time he broke away my toy fox terrier and pitbull terrier all go on walks at the same time and I thought walking him alone would help but I think that only made it worse please help
