Or are we limited by what we can conceptualize and percieve? And, if so, aren't we saying that we are the highest intelligence in the universe? Maybe some other species can grind out answers faster than we can but we are capable of understanding anything they can?

I believe we are the most intelligent as we are dominant and if another species was more intelligent than it would of found a way to dominance.

I believe in some sense or imagination is endless not unlimited. It is endless in the sense that it is forever changing and I do not believe we could ever run out of things to think of. BUT at the same time, we could never imagine such a concept as nothing or infinity, it is something beyond our comprehension..

So this leads me to the conclusion that we are limited in our imagination due to our inability to comprehend certain concepts and ideas.

I believe it can be. Especially after seeing what the human mind has produced so far, it is not difficult to conceive of the thought that human imagination is unlimited. At present, it is only limited by the limited resources of this planet, solar system and universe that feeds it.

second question: Or are we limited by what we can conceptualize and percieve?
answer: whatever we can conceptualize and perceive, we can also perceive the mirror, the opposite, and beyond what we perceive, again leading to limitlessness, or, infinite.

third question: And, if so, aren't we saying that we are the highest intelligence in the universe?
Answer: It can, but it doesn't happen to be limited to this thought. We may also be saying any number of other things as well, such as, "We have found that we have been created "in the image" of an intelligence higher or more advanced than our own.

Fourth question: we are capable of understanding anything they can?
Answer: I think we can.

Imaginations are unlimited, however abilities and technology is limited. So we have the potential to be the highest intelligence, but we don't have the capabilities yet.

We can't even figure out how to use a fraction of our own imaginations and intelligence. Besides, wouldn't you have to know where the limit is, in order to measure our ability to reach it? No, the only thing unlimited about humans is arrogance.

Highest? I think one of us has a false sense of what we are as a species.

We kill ourselves in so many ways. We damage our health, each other, our lives. We destroy an ecosystem with no mind to the outcomes of those choices. We treat our children as second class citizens with virtually no rights. We don't live in harmony with our environment or each other.

Our arrogance continues and has historically been our downfall. I see no evidence that this will change.

Perhaps we are not as intelligent as we all like to think.

Yes, we have imagination. We have been able to create weapons to wipe out our species several times over. We have imagination. We have developed religion and philsophies to kil each other over. We have created cultures only to imprison and enslave other to those differences.

We could take lessons from those unintelligent species.

i think our imagination and perception is vast but limited i think you get to a stage wheras you can imagine lots of things about space, spititualism, the beyond etc, but after a while your mind does become blank , rather like trying to think up lots of questions to ask, its like a machine, and as our brains are basic electricity , neutrons, electrons, etc i believe that it does run out,. the spirit however i believe is a differnt matter and has no limits.

Of course the human imagination is LIMITED. We have finite minds no matter how big of an imagination we have.

The imagination is vast, but not unlimited. There is a boundry somewhere that we can't cross, and it usually incorporates the words "I can't even imagine that."
