Being that its almost that time of year again (do you have all the necessary school supplies already? I sure don't ;) All three of my kids will now be in schools that have a required dress code.

Or maybe I should say a *what not to wear* list.....and I frankly, think it SUCKS!

Public school - no uniforms.....but they're making things so difficult for parents (especially single parents that get no help from the absent parent)

An example :

- NO lettering OR pictures of any kind on clothing is allowed with the exception of school-affiliated groups and small logos.

Soo what exactly IS a SMALL logo?

Other examples:

- No bib-overalls.

- No facial or tongue piercings (violators will be expected to remove such piercings IMMEDIATELY)

- NO hair coloring, other than what would be considered natural hair colors (for instance, if you are a natural blonde; you will not be permitted to dye your hair black)

- No unnatural hairstyles (that would draw attention away)

Now, if the Old Testiment is primarily written to Isreal and the Jews, the Gospels were written to Jews and Gentiles during Christ's ministry, then what about Paul? If you've read the bible, can you see the difference between gospels and testiments? We are now in the grace dispensation of the bible. God doesn't operate the same way he did in time past (Jews and Isreal-circumcision and uncircumsion) and as he explains in Ephisians: Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God 13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; - Any thoughts on this?

I'm not trying to "score points" for either side. I'm just wondering what people think.

Is the subject matter of the lie what's important? Lying about your golf score, for example, versus lying about a stock fraud scheme that affects thousands?

Or is it the lengths one goes to lie? For instance, compare merely claiming to "forget" a conversation about the stock fraud, versus demonstrably falsifying one's golf scores at the club and asking several of your golf buddies to lie for you. (Assume, for argument's sake, that there was a valid million dollar bet that was in court, and therefore the score was important.)

Seriously, which bothers you more?

I'm not sure I know the answer myself!

Thanks. :)

I have a ten gallon tank with a hood but the water is evaporating at about half a gallon a week. I read that it's bad to just add new water to a tank without taking water out because it changes the water quality. Is this true? Can I simply pour in de-chlorinated water when the water level runs low?

I am looking at going to a really good music college so I can get an excellent education. I play the cello and I was wondering what are people's opinions out there about these two school and other places out there? I would like to hear pro's and con's, or whatever you think will be helpful. Thanks

Me and and my ex booyfriend dated for 8 years before I found out he was cheating on me with a younger girl. I am 27 and he is 28. The whole time they were suppossed to be in a relationship we were still seeing each other and have never really spent any time apart since the incident. It has been about two years since I found this out. Right now he claims that he is not involved with her at all romantically. However, he still talks to her on the phone. I really love him and I want to work on our relationship. I have tried talking to other people but it just did not work because he is who I want to be with. However, I do not trust him anymore. I feel like I am pushing him away because I am always asking him where he is at and what he is doing. This always leads to an argument. I just don't know what to do. Can anyone Help??

Am I wrong? Heres the deal.

We had planned to go to Vegas for our anniversary. My husband got mad at me recently because I didn't have as much money saved as I said I would, to go. I told him I would have $1500 saved towards the trip, but now, I will only have $1,000. I have already spent $400 on Vegas show tickets.

He wanted to take $4,000 total, so he was going to put $2500 with my $1500, but when I told him I would only have $1,000, he said thats not going to be enough.

Basically, he said that he doesn't want to go if we don't have a certain amount of money. He's just being stubborn as usual because I know that $3500 is enough for both of us, especially if our show tickets and hotel rooms are already paid for.

If he is still stuck on "not going", I'm going without him. Would I be wrong for that?

My Envoy's differential fluid is supposed to be changed every 60,000 miles, but since the dealer says it's changed with synthetic fluid, I was wondering how long I can really go before it really needs changed since it is synthetic fluid. It was already changed one time at 60,000 miles.

My 2002 Envoy has 119,000 miles, but over 80% of those are highway miles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

He got blamed for the bullet hole in the ceiling which the suicide attempter put there in the struggle. The guy also said my brother came in with a gun and tried to kill him. My brother took the guns away and held them for a day. The guy then came and moved the guns to another man's home. My brother is being charged with removal of evidence from the crime scene. He might even be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Point is, he's being blamed for something he didn't do. Is that justice?

It is true that the basic laws of physics say that nothing that has any mass can travel faster then the speed of light, but energy does not have any mass. So if you were able to surround an object in an energy bubble and maintain that bubble of energy for a prolonged period of time could you then propel the object beyond the speed of light and if so why isn't NASA working on building such technology, or is this still the realm of science fiction
