I would agree with the sporting event idea. I am not sure what the occassion is, but two tickets to his favorite event will be memorable. If he smokes cigars, maybe a gift certificate to JR Cigars. I hear you are able to go there and smoke cigars and lounge.

You could have everyone do up their own coupons, like "Redeem this coupon for one errand running" or "Redeem this coupon for one pot of coffee" stuff like that. If that's too cheesy you could always do an entertainment package. Free dinner and a movie passes or something along that line. Good luck.

going off of past gifts, it seems like you guys can come up with at least $200 to spend on him. look at his hobbies. does he bowl- if so get a ball personalized or a personalized pair of bowling shoes. does he golf- get a nice putter or golf bag. if you know his tatse in music- get a collection of different cds he likes, or even a cd from each person that may remind him of each of you.

We gave our male coworker a hand blown paper weight. He loved it. We also gave him a set of Tervis tumblers with his favorite sports team logo.
